Described as a hip-hop-centered, R&B-laced tale of love and loss, production efforts on Mack’s New York: A Love Story debut album include celebrated New York City beat architects DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Havoc, as well as SalaAM ReMiand guest vocals from Method Man, Raekwon and Doug E Fresh. The lead single, “Own It,” was co-written by Mack Wilds and R&B superstar Ne-Yo and has generated significant radio airplay and buzz, while the corresponding video has garnered impressive views on VEVO and YouTube. Follow-up singles include the recently released “Henny” and “Wild Things” featuring Method Man.
