Well, this was new. Back home, there were mutated hounds and even mutated sea urchins, but Jack had never seen an actual bear before. Only heard of them. Still, this one seemed... normal? This bear lacked the distinct ‘attack everything in sight’ mentality that most of the creatures in his home universe had. 

But it was rude to stare in most societies. Unfortunately, ‘sorry’ was never something Jack was used to saying.

So the place isn’t so bad. Living with three other random people after being kidnapped feels like some wild reality tv show setting; except he doesn’t really have the interest in those sort of things. Interviews, sure. Tournament invitations, 100% more than welcome if not always eager to accept. 

At the very least he hopes there’s room for a personal gym. It’s probably unlikely until he funds that sort of thing himself. Though he wonders which room is his, and if he can tell without snooping into someone else’s room by accident. 

As far as he knows there’s one other person in the house right now and discovers that there’s a bear. 

There’s a bear. 

“Uh...hi.” he waves from across the room, smiling a little more politely. 

It’s a fully clothed bear. Looks intelligent, though maybe a bit young and...thin. A grizzly, he can guess, so if it’s not a panda--it must be...oh no. 

“Did I walk into a Mishima household by accident? Or are you independent?”

( floorboards creak outside office door ) ➥ it's late , and he should have gone home hours ago , but this latest project has turned out to be tricky. maybe his brother forgot to lock up behind him before leaving , because there's no good reason for anyone to be lurking in the building at this hour.

"That's okay, I understand that," Mhir looked at her, uncertain if there was any comfort he could offer other than promising to stay because he knew that feeling too well. Sometimes, it seemed too unbearable to be alone, especially after receiving news or reliving an old memory. "How about we do the cliche and binge-watch some of those netflix shows that require zero attention? My couch is spacey enough to get comfortable with as many blankets and pillows as we need, and we can just do that until we fall asleep."
