HONGHWAN
big spoon/little spoon: maknae is little spoon of course u__u
favorite non-sexual activity: just general picking on each other/pranks; playing with the dogs; and one time they played laser tag and it was one of their favourite things ever, but they never went back for whatever reason.
who uses all the hot water: minhwan tries to save some for hongki when he takes a shower first, hongki doesn't pay attention and has used it up a few times. he apologizes but he's only a little sorry. more of a 'whoops' rather than 'sorry, won't happen again.' (also sometimes they shower together, but not necessarily in a sexual context. the shower's just big and sometimes they're pressed for time yadda yadda)
most trivial thing they fight over: there's a LOT of things. they're all super dumb though, like whose turn it is to feed the dogs, what they're getting for dinner, hongki singing far too loud in the shower, what they watch on tv, etc.
who does most of the cleaning: eh, both/neither, really. they let shit pile up and then one day they'll just go on a spree and pick it all up once they can't see the floor in a room or two. dusting's one of those 'ew, look at all the crud built up on there...'-and-wipe-it-with-your-sleeve kind of things. what's a vaccuum?
what has a season pass on their dvr/who controls the netflix queue: that's one of the things they fight over. they watch some of the same shows, but they're not in the mood to watch them at the same time for some reason. meaning minhwan will watch an episode of this while it's on, hongki will watch that, and next time when they both want to see one of them, the other's behind and gives up on watching it altogether. it's a mess.
who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: neither of them wants to, so they wait it out until one of them finally caves and does it. minhwan doesn't get cold very easily, for whatever reason, so hongki ends up giving in first. he gets his 'revenge' by using all the hot water in the shower the next morning.
who steals the blankets: minhwan used to. hongki shoved him out of the bed one time and minhwan rolled onto the floor, pulling the entire blanket with him. he just stayed there and looked like he fell asleep again. hongki tried to pull the blanket back onto the bed, at least, but couldn't with minhwan weighing it down. so hongki eventually laid down on the floor next to him and minhwan threw the blanket over the both of them. but seeing as the floor gave them both backaches in the morning, there hasn't been any blanket stealing since.
who leaves their stuff around: both of them. it just piles up everywhere. unless somebody steps on something and breaks it, then shit goes down.
who remembers to buy the milk: they switch who gets groceries when they can't go together, but if they run low/out in between shopping days, whoever needs it, buys it.
who remembers anniversaries: they both have a decent memory for dates. neither of them willingly admits it, though; they don't want to seem too sappy. they're one of those couples that they know they love each other, but have trouble really showing it without feeling awkward. so while they do both remember their important days and like to plan things to do or give the other person, they don't exactly do candlelight dinners or anything.
who cooks normally?: they switch when they do cook, or it's a team effort. a majority of the time they prefer to get takeout or go somewhere to eat or something.
how often do they fight?: they constantly pick on each other and get annoyed by little things, but seeing as it's usually even both ways, they don't get huge arguments out of it, really. they did have one big blowout a while back, though, and neither can even remember how it started. it was one of those bring-up-everything-that-ever-upset-you fights. there were a lot of tears and at one point, both thought they were done for forever. they avoided each other for a few days, hanging out with the other three guys. the three of them could easily tell they didn't want it to stay like that and eventually forced them together to work it out. plenty of more tears later, they eventually did. they now think it brought them a lot closer in the long run, but try not to think back on it much.
what do they do when they’re away from each other?: just... normal stuff. meet up with other friends, see their families, etc. again in the idea of not being too sappy, they don't send texts to check in... specifically. they both like to come up with excuses to talk and check in anyway, though. 'hyung, i just saw a girl that looked just like your sister' or 'what did you want for dinner? i can pick something up now if you want,' things like that.
nicknames for each other?: there's plenty, but they're not cutesy or anything. minbabo/hongbabo, hongpoop, things like that. (although he'd never admit it or show it on the outside, hongki spazzes a little whenever minhwan just addresses him as 'hyung,' especially when he uses that "dumb baby voice. haven't you outgrown that yet? aish..."
who is more likely to pay for dinner?: they trade days. it's not on a schedule, they just go by 'i've been paying for it all the time lately!' hongki ends up paying a little more often, though, especially when minhwan plays the maknae 'you're supposed to take care of me!' card. he first did it as a joke, but seeing as it worked, he might overuse it just a little...
what would they get each other for gifts?: they do their best to get things the other would really like. hongki especially thinks there's no point in getting someone a gift if they're not going to like it, just because it's a gift-giving occasion. luckily, having been friends and bandmates for years before dating, as well as having already lived together in the dorm for a long time, they know each other very well and can pretty much always find something good, so neither of them is ever disappointed. (also, hongki tends to get minhwan some... odd gifts. he does like them, he just doesn't understand how hongki knew he would like a mug with a space for cookies underneath, a pillow shaped like a cupcake, or a 26-pound gummi bear.)
who kissed who first?: hongki kissed minhwan. it was more or less how he asked him out. see below.
who made the first move?: hongki did. at one point, somehow, he started to realize he was thinking of little minari as more than just a friend. he didn't understand it completely but he watched his own actions carefully and pushed it a little further every so often, hoping for a similar response. he'd touch him a little more, stand a little closer, talk to him a little longer. minhwan, in response to this, began to feel a lot closer to his hyung as well. he didn't understand his own feelings until one day, when they were alone, hongki just went for it and kissed him on the lips. minhwan didn't respond at first so hongki took it as a rejection. he needed to sleep on it, gather his thoughts. the next morning minhwan brought it up again and the next thing they knew, they were dating.
who remembers things?: they both remember and like to reflect on things a lot, they just don't talk about them in detail. sometimes they'll just be like, "oh hey, remember when i picked up the wrong cake for your birthday and it said 'happy 4th birthday eunyoung' on it?" they don't really mention more serious things unless it's particularly relevant.

who cusses more?: hongki. minhwan might swear a bit when he's really mad or upset, but nothing serious. hongki finds the words funny, especially english ones. "yeah so fucking cool!"
what would they do if the other one was hurt?: as much as they don't like to show their true 'sappiness' as previously stated, when the other one's hurt, either one of them is fully ready to go into umma mode and take care of them. especially hongki for minhwan; he sees it as his duty as his hyung.
