I’ve got to say I really enjoyed this drama. I don’t watch ongoing korean drama but Vincenzo just had this pull I could not ignore and it did not disappoint. Superb actors!!!

“Take your time” he said hesitantly since one of his other acquaintances, who was a woman, wanted to visit him. Miki and him weren’t exclusive but he still didn’t want to be disrespectful. “I’ll be there until the morning so you could come early or later.”

miki could definitely notice that for some reason he hesitated to tell her to come. which meant only one thing. he must have been worried about something , perhaps one of the waitresses there was hitting on him, or he had some fling with one or more of the regulars. ‘what is he worried about?’ she thought to herself as she took a step back. “i’ll try to fix the mistakes fast and come at a logical time.ne?” she didn’t want to go too late and then have more customers visit because of her. she was a people magnet, so she had to be careful not to give him extra work around the time that he has to finish work.

(   ☼   )   one muse puts sunblock on the other.  UNDER READMORE but i swear not nsfw just me avoiding p*** blogs from tracking >.> a certain word lolol and following me. 

miki was sitting on joongki’s bum comfortably spraying the sunblock on his black evenly at first. starting from his shoulders she gently spread the sunblock with her hands to each side. she touched him delicately while smearing it to his arms  then up to his shoulderblades. so many things she wanted to whisper to him about how much she liked looking at his sexy back, but she bit back any words that would lead that moment to become not safe for public. they weren’t alone at the beach after all. maybe if they were, things would have been different. 

spreading the sunblock down to his waist then back up to his shoulder blades she realized that she had already covered every spot. feigning ignorance she ran her hands down to his sides softly squeezing him there before leaning over his back to tug on his earlobe with her lips. “mmm you’re good to go.” she whispered and got off him before slapping his butt. “i’m going to splash now~ i’ll be waiting for you. don’t be too long.” she said and ran towards the sea ignoring the coldness of it just as she sank in. had she stayed out there just a bit longer it would have been difficult to stop  herself from seducing him. ‘damn that sexy barman and my ridiculous sex drive’

Miki x Joongki

He tensed up as Miki laced their fingers together. It wasn’t as if they never held each other hands but this was different. She was seeking comfort after something happened at her work and Joongki didn’t feel worthy of comforting anyone. “it would be ok.” he softly murmured and despite wanting to pull away, he didn’t and lightly squeeze her hand in a reassuring way.

rarely did something happen to her at work that would make her feel shaken up but it was one of those days that she was reminded of all the things that could go wrong when april first would come. she had yet to tell joongki about that small detail only because she didn’t want him to see her tears and force him into feeling sorry for her. but at the same time her heart sought for the comfort that the friendship part of their agreement provided her with. she was curled up in his lap breathing softly not saying anything at all. hercules was sitting between them taking advantage of the warmth that their bodies provided to him. 

miki told joongki that she was sad because one of her co workers was almost hit by a bus and miki was in front of the whole scene. she had told him long ago about how she was also hit by a bus and almost died when she was 14. even though it was traumatic to see it because for a moment she saw herself taking that woman’s place. thankfully miki’s presence actually brought a miraculous luck for the woman, had she not been present , she wouldn’t have escaped death. she didn’t even realize that she held joongki’s hand and interlaced fingers with him until she felt him squeezing it back. he called himself a jerk sometimes and miki couldn’t understand how he didn’t realize it about himself that he was actually a precious person.

the friendship they shared, although weird, was working for her. but at time when he was being affectionate, she was scared. scared of how it would affect her feelings for him, but at that moment she didn’t want to question it because she needed to feel the comfort he provided her with. that was why she held back all the tears. his reassurance though made her want to cry. she looked down letting her hair fall in front of her face so that they would work as a curtainblocking him from noticing that tear that was already rolling down. she looked at hercules who was enjoying the warmth of his parents. she wrapped her free hand around joongki’s neck bringing her head to the other side so she could discreetly wipe that tear so he wouldn’t see it and pulled back. still she avoided to let him see her eyes in case they were red. she squeezed back his and brought it to her lips to gently bite his knuckles. “thank you for everything joongki. aren’t you a precious friend with benefits?” she smiled and finally met his eyes before leaning in to bite his cheek. “you should smile for me now.”

“I am fine don’t worry.” he moved his face away. His bottom lip was still bleeding from the fight at the bar but it wasn’t anything serious. “things like these happen at a bar.” Joongki shrugged his shoulders as he walked to the bathroom to better examine the wound. 

it was just a bar fight but it made her feel pain looking at his wound. she had been with him for months already and caring about him came naturally. she was thankful nothing worse happened "i hope you aren't hurt elsewhere!" she dashed, almost slipped but didn't matter to her, and got the first aid kit and the special ointment her grandpa made for quick healing. she stood out of the bathroom and called out to him "joongki, let me take care of your wound please?"

in miki’s life so far, most of the choices she had made throughout a day, always lead to advantageous results. either her communication choices, fashion choices or just where to look , what to pick up. that day before arriving to work she found a pure white umbrella on top of her car. it was there just like that. she never owned an umbrella of her own because she never really needed it, however something made her keep it. only hours later did the part elf lady figure out why luck brought it her way.

it was cold outside, the kind of cold that simply penetrated anyone’s skin, even miki’s, but it was warm inside the bar. right after work she visited joongki at work. her reason was simple, she wanted to see him. she went inside, watched him work, simply smiled, waved her hand, blew a kiss his way right when a loud thunder announced the beginning of a terrible storm. she almost jumped in her place because of the sudden sound. the raindrops were drumming against the ground and windows. ‘ah... that’s why.’ she thought to herself. 

she approached the bar, her eyes remained on ‘him’. "i only came to see you for a bit... but it seems it’s your lucky day.” miki took out of her bag the white umbrella and placed it in front of her. “please use it to come home tonight safe. i think the rain will last all night long.” his cute smile pierced through her heart making it beat slightly faster. “hercules and i will be waiting for you.” she mirrored his smile and winked at him playfully before jumping off the chair. “i must go. hercules is waiting ~” she blew one more kiss his way before turning on her heel and walking to the door. 

just as she pushed it open the rain automatically stopped too. she walked to the car and only when she was inside the rain started once again having the same force as before. she drove off home turning the heat on before she would end up freezing in the seat.

This movie bring emotions you haven’t felt before. You will realize how lucky you are to be living in this generation and yet, we always take that for granted. We should be ashamed. We should be thankful. We should learn.

And song jongki. Ugh
