Pros and Cons of Dating: Honore Du’Rosaire
Pros:
Fun: Honore loves a good time, he enjoys laughter and feeling alive. Want to take him drinking? He'll go. Want to go rove out in the wilds in search of adventure? He'll just as happily come along. Run out of ideas? He's probably got half a dozen of his own.
Romantic: Honore loves romance and is a romantic to the very core of his soul. You want someone to sing you a serenade complete with blushes and heartrending sincerity? He's your man. He'll write you poetry. He'll bring you flowers. He'll get flustered and shy in your presence.
Well off: He's got a more than generous allowance. The drinks are on him. He likes to give thoughtful gifts and treat people he likes to the finer things. He is happy to support you and he doesn't count the cost.
Protective: In his own way Honore is nearly as protective as his brother of those he cares for. He'll fight a duel for you. And if you go off to face an army you can count on him to be on the high ground with his bow, shooting down anyone who might wish to do you harm.
Well-read: Honore loves books and reading. He'll read to you, he's probably read at least some tidbit or another on any topic you might be interested and will happily and enthusiastically share what he does know as well as eagerly assist you with any further research.
Cons:
Trusting: A little too trusting, Honore takes most people at their face value until they prove him wrong. He wants to believe in everybody and sometimes it carries him to the point of nerve-wracking naïveté. He'll follow that stranger into a dark alley and never guess they might mean him harm.
Well Acquainted: He knows almost everybody. He's got an excellent memory for names and faces and takes care to remember what he is told by everybody he meets. Who is this person? If you're the jealous sort Honore's genuine interest in everybody around him might be hard to bear or interpret correctly.
Bookish: He can be distractible if he gets his hands on something he really wants to read and there is a very long list of things he really wants to read. He's continually adding to it.
Nightmares: He suffers intense nightmares nearly every time he sleeps. It has been a problem for him as long as he can remember. They wake him in the middle of the night and quite frequently he gives up on sleep. He almost always looks tired.
Brave Face: Honore is unlikely to talk about his problems without a lot of coaxing. He'd rather talk about yours and what he can do to help. While he wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to affections when it comes to hurts trying to find out that something is troubling him might be an uphill battle.
His brother: Honore's brother Silvaineaux is exceptionally protective. If for some reason he doesn't think you're good for his brother you can expect to meet the full force of his unpleasantness. And should Honore be injured while in your presence he'll hold you personally responsible.
