co je za lore za jmenem honza?? kdo vymyslel, ze prezdivka jana bude honza???
Viktor’s grandma and grandpa. Olga and Honza.
Honza was a musician who worked the mines of Zaun. Though he didn't like his job, he did it to provide for his sick daughter Natasha. His wife had died from exposure to the Gray and he knew his music wasn't going to be enough to bring food to the table. He was soft spoken and encouraged his daughter to find alternatives to work besides the mines. The toxins had already taken a toll on her lungs and she was rather frail. Still he found she was gifted in tinkering and crafts. She could sew clothing as a seamstress while also making toys for the children of Zaun she looked after as a teen while their parents worked the mines and factories. Honza was proud of her and wanted nothing more than for her to have a better life than the one he lived. One day Natasha was making dinner and her father never came home. She came out to hear her father was one of the many casualties of a major mine collapse. Like Vander's father Silver. Zaun had lost many only for a newer younger one to take over where their parents left off. Natasha might have been sickly, but taking her late father's teachings to heart she carried on making her living and starting a family of her own. Even now her son Viktor had those same amber eyes as his grandfather Honza even seemed to take on his soft yet hard working nature. It was like a part of her father lived on in him.
Olga came from a family of blacksmiths. Her father clearly wanted a son but was stuck with her. Still she was tough and far from some dainty princess. The forges didn't scare her and she was eager to prove her worth and skill. Soon she earned the respect of her peers as she inherited the forges. But the forges were a dangerous occupation, many like her lost limbs, eyes, or lives from the unpredictable machines. Yet Olga seemed too stubborn to die and just patched herself back together with augments. Later she thought she found love and ended up pregnant, but her would be husband got cold feet and bailed on her. The forges were no place for a child, but she was no ordinary blacksmith, and her son Zhivago was no ordinary child. She raised him on her own and kept her job up with him as her little helper. Zhivago was just as tough and cunning as her, but she instilled how if he ever fell in love with someone he was gonna stick by their side like welded metal... Cuz if he didn't she'd be sure to kick his ass. Zhivago loved her in a sort of tough-love way. When she found out her son had a crush on Natasha she kept teasing him and asking when he was gonna finally get married. In no time Zhivago kicked things off and he and Natasha got married. Natasha always wanted children, but she feared her sickness could kill her. Healthcare was practically nonexistent in Zaun, when the baby was coming they were on their own. But Olga was certain Natasha would handle it. She herself raised her son single handily and here Natasha was with a family on her side.
But on the stormy night of Viktor's birth everything went wrong. Olga could see right away her grandson was breached and was causing Natasha strain on her body. Olga was no doctor but she was hellbent on saving them both. Acting as midwife she reached in and pulled Viktor by his legs to get him out. It was stressful but they seemed almost done.... until Olga heard a CRACK. Her blood ran cold as she realized her mechanical arm that was used to bending metal has just broke baby Viktor's leg. She was devastated here she was bringing her grandson to the world and the first feeling she inflicted on him was pain. Zhivago was heartbroken about the fracture, but he knew without her Natasha and Viktor would probably be dead. For a few days Olga couldn't bare to wear her mechanical arm, not even for work. She could never forgive herself for crippling her grandson for life. She tried to carry on only for cancer to claim her. In her final hours she kept wondering if she had done enough for her family.
