there are no words for this senseless tragedy. i will never be able to understand how anyone could do something like this. to say that i am disgusted and heartbroken is a complete understatement. my heart goes out to all those who have been affected by this nightmare.
on another note, my brother works as a salesman and today a lady said to him "there was a shooting in CT and you're selling ****** **?" first of all we live in WI. secondly, he has a pregnant gf at home, what is he sopposed to do? quit his job, hop on a plane and go mourn with them? i just can't believe someone would try to make him feel guilty for providing for his family. ugh. just ugh.
anyway, there was a lot of shit that happened this morning that i was going to vent about on here, but honestly, after what happened in CT, it just doesnt even matter. i am truly saddened by what has happened.
I can only imagine being a parent in that situation.
Some were probably running late to work & didn’t get the chance to have a decent goodbye. Or some probably kissed their kids goodbye & told them “have a good day” not knowing their lives were in danger due to a psycho felon. How do you take that phone call that your child’s school has been shot up & your child is now dead. Your 5 year old is dead on their classroom floor. How do you deal?! You have to pick up their tiny body. You have to look at the gifts hiding in the closet all wrapped up for christmas that’ll never be opened. You’ll never see them smile again. I couldn’t do it. My prayers go out. Rest In Peace.
