[NZ-RT31] Heutiges Tagesziel war der „Hooker Lake“ zum Sonnenaufgang. Also ging es mitten in der Nacht raus aus dem Camper. Wir konnten unseren Augen kaum trauen, wie klar der Sternenhimmel hier war.. Aber.. Keine Zeit.. Termine.. Termine.. Wir mussten weiter zum „Hooker Valley Track“. Der Wanderweg gehört zu den beliebtesten Tracks in Neuseeland. Durch malerische Berglandschaften wanderten wir bis zum von Eisschollen bedeckten „Hooker Lake“. Den Rest des Tages genossen wir das Bergpanorama rund um den „Mount Cook“. Today's destination was the "Hooker Lake" at sunrise. So we started in the middle of the night. Looking to the sky we could not believe how crystal clear we were able to see the Milky Way.. But.. We had no time for this.. We had to continue to the "Hooker Valley Track". This track is one of the most popular tracks in New Zealand. Through picturesque mountain landscapes we hiked to the "Hooker Lake" which was covered by ice floes. This past weekend three of us went to see Mt. Cook sitting above Hooker Lake.
