Hii! I just wanted to come on over and say that one of your posts popped on my dash earlier and brought me here to scroll through your blog, and you've kind of drawn me in...Your story sounds pretty awesome so far–and not to sound rude, but I'm saying this as someone who's never been big on same gender romance, especially as the "main" thing. I just tend to opt for straight romance because I relate to it. Your story just seems like I'd want to read it! (the little excerpt your have shared on your blog got me all interested, please feed us more!)
I don't really know what I'm saying other than your story seems cool and I'd love to see how it comes about over time!

When I tell you my heart flipped—
Hi, hello, I am absolutely tucking this in my heart forever. Thank you for taking the time to come over here and write such a thoughtful message, and thank you even more for being the first-ever comment on Hooktown. How special is that! Ah! I’m going to treasure your words and press them between the pages of my favorite book.
Don't worry! It is not rude at all. I actually appreciate your honesty. The fact that the writing drew you in anyway, especially when this is not usually your kind of romance, is a rare and beautiful compliment. It is exactly what I hope Hooktown can do.
The romance is certainly a main current, but I want it to feel natural in this world, not like it has been pasted on top of the story. The mystery still gets its spotlight. So hearing that you’re interested means more than I can properly say!
I promise there will be more fish food soon. I’ve been working on my book daily, and I’m aiming to post a fresh sample of the first pages within the next week or so. You have officially encouraged me to never stop writing this story.
