I still don’t think they understand babies. Or growth. Or aging. But they didn’t freak out which is what I expected.

Thought of another long-winded question ;) Obviously Lightning's presence in RS drew his fans to the town. But once the Hudson Hornet's whereabouts were made known, I assume Doc had his own share of fans and admirers coming to RS as well? Well, besides The King lol.
Radiator Springs becomes a hot vacation destination for race fans of all sorts, young and old! I would even bet that Lightning’s admiration and respect for Doc trickled over into his generation of fans as well. I mean, Doc does have his own museum nowadays. I bet it’s pretty popular.
And here’s a wild thought. What if, back in the day, Radiator Springs had a dirt racing name for itself of sorts? They do have a full on dirt track out behind the town. That thing isn’t naturally occurring. Someone, at some time, had to have built it for a reason. Perhaps the dirt racing craze of the east had a western branch as well! Maybe there’s more to Radiator Springs’ history than we know...
The only cars Jackson Storm taunts during races (that we know of anyway) are Lightning & Cruz. Lightning pointed out to Cruz the only reason Storm did that with her is because she scared him. Do you think that deep down he felt that way around Lightning too? Like maybe all that bravado was, at least initially, a facade?
I think Storm definitely felt a need to establish himself to the fanbase--because up until his come-from-behind win towards the end of the season, notoriety is something Lightning definitely had that Storm didn’t. And if you’re not marketable, can’t attract/keep sponsors by virtue of your on-track skills but also your overall utility to the sponsor, you’re not the whole package. Even if Storm had a pretty good sense that he had more raw speed than Lightning (and by virtue of his engineering coupled with his own genuine talent, more finesse), he still had to prove he was that whole package. And what better way to do that than by orchestrating what might honestly amount to a takedown of someone who’d proved it before?
Probably my evil twin or something, don’t worry about it.
I’ve got a lot of classic rock on in the car and she hasn’t complained yet. She’s really into Elton John right now, which is something I wouldn’t have seen coming in a million years, but it’s a great excuse to teach her some piano and buy the kid the most garish sunglasses I can find.
I wish I could credit it to something I did but I’ve got nothing. No secret face stretches here.
Honestly? I don’t know if it’s on purpose or not and I can’t get an answer out of him.
Old Time Rock and Roll came on at the vow renewal. We both knew it and had a bit of a moment there. That guy puts on such a performance when he gets into a song, I’m nowhere near that level he stole the show for a bit.
