Cats living their best lives.
So, the other day I talked it over with my partner and we decided that it was about time for the cats to get a new water fountain. One that might be a bit harder for microbes to build up on (ADHD makes cleaning painful sometimes) and easy to clean / throw in the dish washer.
I was thinking maybe similar size or a little bigger than the one we have now.
So I went on Amazon, looked up one from the manufacturer we got our last two (really like Drinkwell fountains) and sent off the one I liked best to my partner.
They looked it over and told me that they liked it too. Bonus points because it was on sale and I try to be frugal when I can be.
Well, the water fountain came in today friends. And while it's all the wonderful things I mentioned above. It's also one more thing that I didn't notice when ording it.....
Friends. It's twice the size of the old one...
It holds 3.8 liters of water.... (A gallon for anyone using freedom units. I see you Latvia).

Like, I'm not mad. I was happy with the idea of paying the same price I payed for HALF the fountain I got!
I find out AFTER sending my partner the above picture and giving them a call (chatting about our days) that they knew it was that big because THEY payed attention to the description.
Friends. I have to level with you. I'm not mad. I'm distraught. Out of my partner and I, they are the one who jumps in feet first yelling "Jeronimo!" (And I love that about them) and I'm usually the one who hangs back and reads the labels because I enjoy knowing as much as possible about the things I'm buying.
Nope. This time the rolls were reversed. Who needs to count all he pieces carefully and meticulously before assembling the Ikea furniture to make sure that we had them all before trying to put it together. No today friends, we ride!

All over dramatizations aside. It's a very nice fountain and I'm very excited to set it up and see how the cats like it.
