This is my siren-banshee-human hybrid, Camilla Rose! Cam's powers unfortunately cause those who hear her voice to die, so she took matters into her own hands and... well... let's just say speaking is out of the question now. She communicates via tablet and is an outspoken advocate for supernatural rights. The wonderful hoolygun drew this for me (and she's still open for commissions!)
Third commission! Here are hoolyknife's characters, the switches (sisters+witches, love it!) Ashlyn and Azalea. Everyone should go check out her art, too, at hoolygun. It's really awesome!
a quick doodle of my witch adoptable from hoolygun because i got over-eager and have been drawing them practically all day and yeeeaaaah (((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))
thier name is Ji-Yoon and they're decidedly shaping up to be a deadpan snarker with a bit of a 'tude and would rather study magic than socialize... not too easy to get along with cuz they're rather disinterested and opinionated but they just need a little tact. they can manipulate shadows/space and tell fortunes by reading the stars but probably won't do it for free!
aaaaand that's what I got so far! back to drawing haha
hoolyknife replied to your post:Why is it that, in the case of a dependent person...
but katie my parents successfully bred by accident so now i owe them everything. One birth will cost you abooout 100 years of service yes. It’s like signing a cellphone contract only you didn’t exist until it got signed and someone signed it for you
Goddammit, I kinda missed my chance here, didn't I? If I start now, it'll be, like, years before they have the mental capacity and fine motor control to do manual labor and essay-writing.
*stares threateningly at uterus*

Ugh are they seriously complaining about homeless people what the fuck pretty sure none of us have ever chosen to lose our homes what the fuck
It's because they panhandle and stand around places. You have never seen terror until you've seen a middle-aged midwesterner who's just been asked if they've got a dollar to spare.
And yeah, there's like...ten. Ten homeless folks. In the entire town.

I just kind of wanted to laugh really loudly, aggressively and endlessly, but I always kinda feel that way when wealthy middle aged folks come in to complain about
-the homeless presence (y'all motherfuckers never been to a place with warm winters, I see)
-the state of young people
-the fact that the place next door--called The Tobacco Bowl and literally the only business in town where you can still smoke indoors--smells like cigarettes
Goosebumps, Nails, Spine!
Goosebumps: What scares you the most?
Narit shrugs noncommittally, eyes flickering down to her hands. “Nothing stranger than what anyone fears. Being alone in the winter. Being underground without a light. Dying.”
(Narit has a couple of acute fears. The most long-standing and deeply engrained is her fear of being trapped, physically restrained or otherwise. The other is a not entirely logical fear of vampires, which she’s encountered too few times to really know much about. It comes from the memory of the weakness and terror of her first encounter with one, which just about killed her.)
Nails: When you’re feeling vulnerable, do you become more defensive or do you take the offensive and lash out?
(Done for Narit, so we’ll do Tanil)
“‘Feeling vulnerable.’ You mean anger? Or sadness? Or,” he laughs, a little harshly, “an actual fight? I have no mapped reactions for these. I’ll let you know when it happens.”
(Tanil lashes out. He tends to act without thinking too hard on the consequences when he’s emotional. Verbally or physically, he’s likely to use offense as defense. Though if it’s simply something like mild social discomfort, he’ll probably just get flustered and leave.)
Spine: What is your biggest weakness?
(Narit’s greatest weakness could be said to be her tendency to flee, to disappear rather than duke it out. It’s not a bad tactic for survival, but not a great one when it comes to social interaction, and it’s probably what’s kept her from forming very few friendships that are anything more than casual. She also tends to think of isolation as safety, which is often not the case.)
