12. - Is there a wedding? What was the proposal like? Any kind of honeymoon?

I already kind of covered the Izuocha aspect of this question, so I’ll be brief with them…

Izuocha:

Izuku and Ochako’s wedding is a huge affair - full of new friends, old friends, old teachers, other pro-heroes, family and even the public hanging around outside. The number 1 hero getting married is super hot news after all. They’re both fairly overhwelmed by just how many people they’ve touched and who want to be part of their union. It’s a pretty traditional kind of wedding - it’s even televised!

Kirimina:

Mina would definitely propose to Kirishima. Like, he’s planning on proposing to her - he’s got a ring, he’s ready to do it - so they go on a romantic holiday and he’s like, Tonight is the night. but then Mina drops to one knee and opens a little box and proposes like a boss and good lord it’s the manliest thing Kiri has ever seen. 

He tells literally everyone that will stop and talk to him for five minutes that his fiance proposed to him.

He loves her so much,,

Their first dance is one of those really cool choreographed dances that starts off serious to a typical slow song and then disk scratches into something amazing that they do a whole dance routine to. Kaminari films the entire wedding, but that bit of the video is literally just him shaking the camera with excitement and yelling ‘YOOOOO’ until he runs out of breath.

Their honeymoon is somewhere exotic, with a mix of activities and sunbathing. They go snorkeling with sharks and Mina stands on the side of the boat yelling stuff like ‘I will look after your son!’ at the sharks. Both of them are just crazy confident, no shame kind of people. They make an amazing couple. 

They have a, uh… busy… honeymoon.

39. - Who initiated the relationship? Who kissed who first?  When did they realize they were in love?

Izuocha:

Izuku initiated the relationship, by finally finally getting up the courage to ask Ochako out. He stutters and stumbles over himself and worries that he’s got it totally wrong and will ruin their friendship while Ochako’s mind is blowing like You Like Me Like That???  Like, to literally everyone else it’s so obvious that they’ve got feelings for each other, and should be going out already, but the both of them are complete dorks in love and don’t realise it. (she of course says yES)

They’ve been in love since they first met really. But it takes Izuku’s leap of faith for them both to admit it to each other.

Their first kiss comes after a particularly difficult practical hero class in their third year. Ochako goes back to her desk to pick up some notes, but she bruised her ribs quite badly in the hero class, and didn’t want to tell anyone because it was from her own mistake - so she has a bit of a sit down at her desk to feel sorry for herself.

Izuku turns up in the doorway totally out of breath because he’s been looking for her everywhere - he just knew she didn’t seem herself after class and is she okay?

Overwhelmed she just bursts into tears.

He goes over and hugs her and they have a long, soft, quiet moment where they just stay in each others arms. When they pull back Ochako thanks him for coming to find her, and goes to peck him on the cheek at the same time that he goes to tell her it’s no problem, so they end up connecting lips. They both spring away from each other apologizing and Ochako looks even more sad, so he bites his lip, holds his breath, feels his stomach turn over and just reaches out to cradle her face and kisses her.

Kirimina:

Kirishima initiated the relationship, by asking her out one night after they’ve been hanging out doing homework together. She whines that she needs a break and asks if he wants a snack and he just grabs her hands, looks her in the eyes and asks her out. Mina is starstruck by how romantic it was, and how proud she is of him. She’s like ‘Babe. I thought you’d never ask and I’d have to do it first.’ (which is like unaware foreshadowing of what’ll happen with their proposal) she kisses him and they’ve got a lot of unresolved sexual tension to work out so it deepens… and deepens… and it’s only when they’re both grinning and need air that she’s like ‘is that a yes on the snacks?’

They’ve been in love since middle school. Them getting together is perfect

40. - Any special memories? Do they have a special place they like to go to?

Izuocha:

Their first few meetings are the most special and treasured memories they have. She saved him from falling and was the first friendly face he knew at the school. He punched a robot in the face to save her. She slapped him round the face to save him again. (and threw up) then she tried to give him her points from the exam.

It becomes a bit of a running joke between them. But they’re the sort of couple that end up with a lot of in-jokes and they’ll laugh between them but everyone around them is just like ???

They’re both height enthusiasts. Sometimes he carries her over rooftops and parkours up buildings with her until they get to a good roof they can sit on, and sometimes she floats them both up. Rooftops become a place that is just theirs, and it’s a quiet soft space away from villains and the public and the media.

Kirimina:

Their time at middleschool is so precious - a time when they both knew each other in the early stages of their personalities and lives. Mina knows that it’s a Kirishima only she will ever really know - the memory of that time is just hers and his.

The aquarium they went to on their first date is very special, and they usually try and go around the anniversary of that day each year. Each year they both get a shark hat and really get into the spirit of going round the aquarium. Mina still yells stuff like ‘Look Kiri! I didn’t know your family lived here!’ whenever they get near the shark tank. (it’s a running joke she keeps up for their whole lives together.)
