Hoop tape! The Mountain Hoop factory is producing more hoops and I am using good old cheap hardware tape. But what about the pretty shinies? Am I being cheap arse? Well that lovely sparkly tape that we all love to adorn our hoops with is fragile, slippery and expensive! These are teaching hoops and also for kids. Hardware tape is durable and a bit grippy so it's great for kids to be able to bash the crap out of and good to learn on as well. My favourite beginner hoop in my collection is one that is not very pretty and covered in grip tape. It's a beautiful weight and rarely flies out of my grasp and that's why it's one of my favs. I'm still using pretty colours and patterns for my teaching hoops but I'm saving my shinies for customised orders so I don't have to retape my teaching hoops every time they're played with. Just one of the many things to consider when making hoops on top of size, weight and diameter. #mountainhoops #bluemountainsnsw #hoopfactory #hoopteaching #hooplife #hooptape #hooptips #crafty (at Blue Mountains National Park)
