thank you so much for the ask soup <3 my favorite beverage is probably agua fresca (watermelon juice), but i can't get it a whole lot :( i also really enjoy hot chocolate, especially mexican hot chocolate (which is spicy!), apple cider and apple juice, and ginger beer.

Heather. Even her name breaks her heart a little bit. All those years, lost. Another complication. She isn’t sure what she feels about her. Isn’t sure if she ever will. She loves her, she thinks, but she can’t quite grasp it. It’s a steady buzz, humming, radio static. It’s there, it’s present, it’s real. It’s not making her sick with it. It’s not enough. She could give herself to Heather, but Heather wouldn’t know what to do with all of her devotion. She couldn’t understand - not after so long apart. She couldn’t be the person she knew. She wanted to be that girl for her, but truth be told, she barely remembered her. If Cheryl bled at her feet, she’d clean her up and beg her to be careful. She wouldn’t revel in it. 

Then again, neither would Toni. Not anymore. Maybe not ever.

She’s solving that equation, finally. The Toni minus Cheryl plus Baby Anthony and multiply by Fangs of it all. Cancelling it out until all that’s left is a neat little answer, and the lonely number. The answer’s been given to her, after all this time. Stop the comet. Be a hero. Maybe die trying. Hopefully die trying. She’s not sure what comes after that, if there is even an after. 

Maybe, if she died, maybe, Toni could live off her. Keep her body in a freezer. Cook her into breakfasts and dinners. Press garlic and mince onion, sauté her with butter and thyme and rosemary. Make her something delicious. Make her something worth being. Something to savour, to linger on. It was incredibly derivative, and quite frankly, overdone, to entertain the idea of Toni having a part of her forever like that. A biological impossibility, if she was being honest. She’d eventually pass through and be forgotten. Not to mention the risk of some foul disease. 

Besides, the last time Toni had dealt with a body didn’t bear thinking about. No, Toni would put her in the ground. Bury her one last time. It wouldn’t even be her, most likely. Somebody like Archie, who’d pulled her body out of the river before. Somebody like Archie, who would find her body in the morning, and carry her to Thornhill. He’d probably bury her next to Jason. Dig the grave himself. Probably all four of them would go. Alice might bring the twins. Tabitha, too. She hoped Toni would go. Or, maybe, there wouldn't be a funeral at all. 

She’d have dug Toni’s grave with her bare hands if they let her. She almost had to.

my favorite food is a little hard bc im such a big food person & i have such a hard time picking favorites, but i think probably a really good steak! for my birthday the last few years my family has gone out to this really good brazilian steak place. a couple of my other favorite things to eat are mexican food, especially carnitas, persimmons, and ice cream cake.
