Day 14 of the #HoopYourHeartOut hosted by @twirlingcircus and @flowandgrow, sponsored by @bangkokpants @body.and.mind.hoops is Love Song. I went with my version of what a love song is... Also I'm an Alt-J hoe and this song always came across as a sexy sort of love song in my hipster scumbag mind. I love the lyrics and the "want" in them. I love how they wrote a love song that is not gender specific and that really gets into what most humans want, which is to be a part of someone/someone's life and to know someone completely. I've had a ridiculous amount of fun getting through this challenge, and it was definitely a challenge some days. But like I said recently, if every prompt were easy it would not be a challenge and I wholeheartedly welcome prompts that make me cringe because they remind me that I'm far and away from where I'd like to be with my hooping... Day 13 of the #HoopYourHeartOut challenge hosted by @twirlingcircus and @flowandgrow is "gift wrapped". Body wraps and I don't get all of to well. Body wraps are one of those moves that don't work well with my body. My back is not flexible enough, my arms are not long enough etc. I still wanted to give them a try today. That's the good thing about these challenges, they help me remember where I need improvement. I had to do this in silence because body wraps take 150% of my focus. But at least I managed a few not so terrible wraps for today's prompt. #hulahoop #hooper #hooplah #oolahulahoop #HoopYourHeartOut

Day 12 of the #HoopYourHeartOut challenge foster by @flowandgrow and @twirlingcircus calls for some DRAMA. Honestly, I think in my daily hooping I can be a little (a lot) dramatic. I hoop with my heart of my sleeve. This tends to show in my hooping most of the time, which can lead to some fairly dramatic moments in my flow. Sometimes, I do not post them because I can get very emotional at points and there are certain moments that don't need to be shared with anyone. I usually feel the most dramatic during some of my spins. This could be because spinning is such a release for me and they take me away to some place where it's ok to feel things. I specifically chose this song because it's especially touching to me, this entire #twentyonepilots (twenty one pilots release moon '09) album got me through some VERY rough times and holds a very special place in my heart. I don't feel particularly well today, so yeah... I'm definitely feeling a little bit dramatic in general. #hooper #hooplah #hulahoop #hoopdance #tøp #bangkokpants

Hurt myself the other day doing ??? But I wanted to catch up on day 10 of the@#HoopYourHeartOut challenge hosted by @twirlingcircus and @flowandgrow. The theme for day 10 is Floored, which was more difficult than expected with an injured groin 😰. I kinda love some floor flow even though I don't really post much of it. This is as close to meditation as I get. It's always challenging to take my legs out of the equation. It definitely gives me that push to get creative with manipulation and modifying tricks. I'm really feeling that fake out at the beginning there. It just sorta happened and I don't think I would have ever thought of that little transition if I had been standing. Floor flow is some then every hooper should try out. Even if it feels silly or odd, just give it a shot and see what happens ☺️. #feverray #hooplah #hooper #hulahoop top is from @littleatomsclothing

Last post for today is dedicated to day 9: Imperfections for the #HoopYourHeartOut challenge being hosted by the awesome @flowandgrow and @twirlingcircus once again... An accurate AF depiction of how my flow has been lately. Also that awkward time when you are still tryin to get used to a new hoop. The funniest part of this is Truffle who wants nothing to do with my hoop😂😂😂😂. I fully embrace/ laugh at my flaws... No use in getting mad or frustrated. Day 9 of the #HoopYourHeartOut challenge hosted by @twirlingcircus and @flowandgrow is "imperfections". Today is my time to shine 😂😂😂. I have a little blooper reel comin later because I think they are a hilarious reminder that behind every perfect 15 second clips there can be a lot of mistakes to get those 15 seconds. This clip is an accurate representation of my flow life haha. "Nails clean pizza toss, messes up on escalators". That is a running theme in my flow. I'll nail a cool trick, then almost immediately I mess up... Perhaps out of excitement for nailing the more "difficult" trick. But, every mess up is a chance to learn and to make it better next time around.
