Hope Ayers was less than ecstatic to find out that her half-sister Malia was being sent down to Earth simply for being born to one of the most notorious criminals aboard The Alpha. She was even less thrilled when her leadership started to become challenged by Scott McCall, a privileged medic who has no idea what he’s doing and Stiles Stilinski, the spastic son of the Chief of Guard who came down to save his best friend and warn their families about the dangers of Earth.
Things take a turn for the worst when they meet Derek Hale, the Commander of a faction of humans known as the Wolves and discover that they are not alone. As Hope wanders the wasteland trying to protect her sister, she discovers that her true family may be closer than she thinks.
