y’know, isolating yourself from people isn’t exactly a bad thing because you get time to get to know yourself and maybe find some peace within. in mikey’s defense it gave him space, allowing him to dig deeper into his mind and spent time with nightmare. whether he liked it or not.
he knew that significant others didn’t really liked it when he would do that. and for example he decided to not inform lia about the whole thing. mainly because he just got to know her and he didn’t really trust her. neither did he trust the other person she was talking about but he also didn’t wanted to pull her into his own little dark world.
so when he opened his front door in the middle of the night to find her standing there you could say that he was quite surprised. first, how did she found out where he lived and secondly, what was so urgent that made her want to find him? brown hues looking up and down at her, almost seeming lifeless as he stretched. “what are you doin’ ‘ere?”
