Talking To Hope
[Zach]
Zach followed Hope outside the room and into the hallway. “What was that? You haven’t snapped at him like that before.”

“I didn’t…I can’t Zach. It’s too fucking much. This is all too much. I can not do this anymore.” Hope said as she turned to look at him. “I thought I could but I can’t.”

I will arrange for us to get away from all this for a while and it will be just us two and you won’t have to worry about all of this okay? Hope felt him forcing her to look at him and she listened to his words before feeling his lips against hers and kissed him back before nodding. “Okay…” She said softly before closing her eyes. “I really can’t do this anymore…” ”

“I know, baby girl. Let’s just go home okay? I think we gave Henry the motivation he needed if he's anything like me.” He teases softly before kissing her again. Taking her hand he leads her out of the building and to the car.

She kissed him back before feeling him taking her hand. She followed him to the car and sighed as she got inside the passenger side. She looked at Zach and just smiled softly. “Sorry I did…sorry.”

“You don’t have to apologize, baby girl.” He tells her. “Let’s go and pack for our trip and just relax okay? It will be good for us.” Zach smiles as he starts the car and drives them home.

“You aren’t going to look for Hallie today?” She asked him softly as she looked at him. “You’ve been leaving while I sleep so I don’t notice, I always notice when you aren’t in bed with me Zach.”

“I won’t be going anywhere. She wants time to herself then she will get that time to herself. I am not going to make myself paranoid about it anymore.” He tells her as he takes her hand.
[Hope]
“Good. We know David is with her and if she was in any danger he would call us. Now you can read your letter that you’ve been avoiding.” She says as she squeezed his hand.
[Zach]
“I don’t think crying and driving is safe.” He says as he drives them back home and parked the car. “I will read it…I just need some time.” The male says.
[Hope]
Hope moved to kiss him softly before smiling, “Okay. Take your time then.” She said, “Who knows, maybe she will come back before you even need to.” She moved to get out of the car and headed inside.

“Maybe.” He says before kissing her back. Zach got out of the car and followed her inside. He started to pack before looking at her. “Where should we go then? Do you have a preference?”

She pulled out their suitcases before starting to pack, “We never got to celebrate our anniversary. Maybe we should do that cruise we wanted to do together. It’s only a week so that’s not too long to be gone.”

“Oh the cruise, good idea.” He smiles before pulling out his phone to make the arrangements as he continues to pack the suitcases. “We don’t need swim suits do we?”
[Hope]
“There are other people on these cruises, you can’t be naked on a cruise.” She laughed as she handed him some of his swim trunks. She started packing her things before moving to see what jewelry she should pick.

“It’s a private one just for us, baby. There won’t be other people, that was why I was asking.” He teases with a smirk before going over and looking to see what rings he wanted to swap out.

“Hm how special.” She teased before taking some of her rings off and just keeping her wedding ring before taking off her necklaces. “You didn’t want to be with other people?”
[Zach]
“It’s our anniversary, why would I want other people to be there with us?” He asks as he raises a brow. “Besides, we need a break from other people.”
[Hope]
“It’s not actually our anniversary. It’s just a replacement trip.” She teased slightly before going back to finish her packing. She looked over at Zach as she grabbed her phone, “Should I have Ellie drop the kids off with my mom? At least Billy will have milk available.”
[Zach]
“Mhm either way it is just for us.” He tells her with a smile. “I think that would be a good idea but aren’t your parents going on their honeymoon? Maybe Ellie and Tommy can watch them along with your siblings?”
[Hope]
“No, my mom had a queen thing she had to go to. So the honeymoon had to be pushed back.” She reminded him as she texted Ellie.
[Zach]
“As if that would stop your father from wanting to take her on a honeymoon.” He teases with a small laugh before grabbing their suitcases and heading to the car with them.
[Hope]
Hope walked down the stairs with him before closing the door and locking it. She headed to the car and waited for him to finish putting the suitcases in the trunk. “Can you take a picture of me please?”
[Zach]
“Sure.” He smiles before pulling out his phone and taking a few pictures. “Perfect.” Zach says before going over and showing her the pictures.
[Hope]
“Thank you baby.” She smiled before moving toward the car and posing before looking at his phone. “Hm yes they are. Thank you.” She kissed his cheek before handing him his phone back.
[Zach]
Zach smiles before taking his phone and sliding it into his pocket again before getting into the car as he waits for her to join him. “Come on baby girl.”

“Okay.” She says before getting in the car with him. She slid on her seatbelt and looked over at him. “So which cruise did you end up picking?”
[Zach]
“We are going on the one that is our private boat obviously. The one with the nice view underwater.” He tells her with a smile.

“Okay.” She laughed slightly before looking out of the window as he drove them there. She stayed relatively quiet as she just took the second to destress from everything. “Can we just pretend for this week it’s just us? No kids? No castle waiting for us? Just Hope and Zach. Like at the beginning?”

“That’s what I was planning on doing, yes.” He tells her with a smile. “It will be just us and no one else. Just like at the beginning.” He reassures her.
[Hope]
She looked at him as she heard his words and nodded, “Okay.” She smiled softly before turning her head back to look out of the window.
[Zach]
Zach hummed as they made their way there. Once they arrived at the dock, he got out and started loading the bags onto the ship as Hope was getting out of the car.

Hope got out of the car and made her way onto the boat before smiling as the captain greeted them. She saw one of the maids coming up to her with a tray of champagne and took one before moving towards the side of the boat to look at the water.

Zach brought their things to the room and then went back up to the deck and took a glass of champagne before joining Hope. “Hm, I feel more relaxed already.” He tells her as he wraps an arm around her waist.

Hope felt his arm wrapping around her and hummed softly as she nodded, “Yeah, me too. It’s really too bad we can stay here forever.” She joked slightly before taking a sip of her drink.

“Mhm we might not be able to but we can come back from time to time whenever we want since we do own it and all.” He teases before kissing the side of her head and sipping some more champagne.

She smiled softly before nodding as she turned to watch the maids starting to clean things up for the boat to take off. “I think I am going to lay down for a while.”

“Lay down by the pool or do you mean a nap?” He asks. “Because if it is by the pool you can bet your pretty ass I am joining.” He smirked before smacking her ass.

She walked to the pool on the second floor and placed her drink on the nearby table. She saw the butler’s leaving when Zach walked by and giggled softly as she started getting undressed.

Zach undressed himself and let his wings unfold. “Mhm, they do make great shade though.” He tells her with a small laugh before picking her up and carrying her to the pool before jumping in.

Hope watched him look at his wings as she tried putting her hair in a bun. She watched him walk over to her and she shook her head. “Don’t you dare. Zach, I wanted to lay down.” She smiled before feeling him picking her up. “Zach put me down.” She said before he jumped into the water with her in his arms.
She laughed as she came back up and splashed water at him. “You are an asshole.” She teased before climbing out of the water.
