@hopescale liked for a small starter
Tanba, sitting upside down on the ceiling above Ritsuka (because why not), looks down at the Chaldean master with a soft smile, and a curious eye, “Have you thought about what you’re going to do after we eventually kill Solomon and all of his underlings? Their deaths are going to be a huge milestone!”

a melody so sweet it hides the toxic venom which drips from her fangs. she sits alone, legs kick in and out, a childish smile hiding a far more sinister nature. it’s been a while since she had any fun, fortunate for her indeed.

IT WAS TRUE THAT Ozymandias gave little care to most, for what reason did he have to? He was but an observer overlooking the masses no different from the Sun God himself, and thus, he did not lend his power or advice casually unless there was a reason to. It was no small wonder Ritsuka questioned him in this instance, even jokingly. Still, despite the Pharaoh’s aloof attitude to most, he did keep a close eye on them. How could he not considering what they had been through? What they would continue to go through as fate and its many burdens weighted heavily upon those small shoulders? For someone as weak as them to win the attention of so many Heroic Spirits as they had stood upon Goetia’s doorstep spoke volumes. However…he had already known this. After all, why else would he allow himself to be summoned into Chaldea the first place?
❝I see. I suppose I can understand how you feel. When I ruled, there were nights that I too could not find proper rest. The mind can chatter incessantly sometimes like the buzzing of insects when the moon rises.❞ He huffed, shaking his head a little as his arms crossed over his chest, next spoken words from Master amusing him. Yes, it was indeed bizarre for the Sun King to descend from his pedestal for anyone, let alone even Ritsuka. Maybe he was just in a good mood tonight? It was hard to tell what ran through his mind to most. Even Pharaoh Nitocris who knew him better than most ever would, struggled to comprehend the complexity of his thoughts. ❝Ha! I would always win in such heated matters with the Golden King! But no, no, that is not why I grace you with my attention in this instance. I just happen to be in a good mood. How lucky you are to have me here.❞
Honestly, that was up for debate.
❝So, rejoice and be reverent.❞

“ i am not so injured that you should be dividing your attention like this: i promise that i am alright, really! archer did FAR more than i did, and appears to need as much help as the effort that he put in. ” ----- he fusses, the same chiding dismissal that he’s sure the others ( servants and master alike ) have grown more than accustomed to by now. arguments crack when his fingers find purchase in ritsuka’s shirt, gripping tightly for a moment as he leans his weight against his much more solid master. one wrong twist forces him to gasp a gulp of air and hold it in his lungs to even staggered breathing. when seated, the pressure fizzles through his lips in uneven exhales and clipped laughter.
“ so stubborn. ”

"I know this is a touchy subject for you, but is there any way to cover your love spot? At all??"
@hopescale
“I understand the concern, master. You have every right to bring this up.” Diarmuid takes a deep breath, crosses his arms, and then continues. Diarmuid knew Ritsuka would pose a question like this eventually, it was only natural given the kind of trouble that could arise when Diarmuid so much as caught a glance from women without proper magical protection. “Unfortunately, dealing with my love-spot is not so simple. It is not the lovespot itself, when seen, that prompts the curse to affect others you see.” The love-spot was the source of the curse, but it went much farther than the small mole under his eye.
“The curse extends to every inch of my face– if even the smallest section is seen, the curse will attempt to take hold on someone. To cover up the curse, I would have to walk around with my entire head concealed, eyes included.” Diarmuid looks to Ristuksa with a small but telling frown. The curse of the love-spot was not something Diarmuid walked around with lightly, it was a burden on his shoulders, a constant reminder of the foolishness of his youth. How he loathed it. “You can see why that would not be practical for every day activities, and even less so for missions. I would not be able to protect you or myself properly if I was blind, and perchance deaf, as well.”
A pondering expression washing over his face, Diarmuid continues, “An old companion of mine who served with me in the Fianna, Lughaid, once spoke of a special type of magecraft, a unique bounded field that could be placed around my head. Lughaid theorized that it could not remove the curse from my face, but rather, suppress it, that it would not affect those around me. Had Lughaid not died so young, he might have found that incarnation.” Diarmuid knew little of magecraft himself, and he didn’t try to know much about it either, if there was ever any hope of dousing the flames of this curse, he knew it would come from the intricacies of magic. “If you ever come across such an incantation during our travels, maybe then we could deal with this predicament. Until then, I am deeply sorry, Master.” Diarmuid takes a deep bow, going down to one knee before Ritsuka, “I hope my love-spot is not causing you any undue stress.”
