As they age and develop more complex organs, their heart becomes strong enough to pump for itself; despite this, they prefer to keep bouncing until their legs are strong enough to support them comfortably. They use the large pearl they carry to amplify their psychokinetic powers. After focusing their psychic power waves through their pearl for so long, they begin to develop black pearl-like orbs on their body to amplify their power instead. While evolving into Hoghop and later Grumpig, these Pokémon will begin to use peculiar dances to control their opponents. The black pearls they form are highly sought after as exquisite works of art.
