hey there i was just wondering if you've done the standby for SNL before? me and my friend are going to New York in december (we're from Australia) and we were looking for some advice and tips on doing standby. We've got our fingers crossed for the christmas episode (love your blog by the way)

I have never seen SNL in 8H, but it’s on my bucket list! Thankfully though the spectacular Camille made a standby guide from all of her journeys to 30 Rock. It’s incredibly thorough and extremely helpful so hopefully you can get some use out of it! My tips would be to be prepared for all kinds of crazy weather because December in NYC can be a blizzard or it could be almost 50 degrees Fahrenheit so that would be about 10 degrees C. And the line for the Christmas episode is bound to start a few days early though so you might have to set up a fortified campsite. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you too and I hope you enjoy your trip!
