Second pop for Victoria!
Soon Horacio and Victoria had a little girl! They named her Sierra. Welcome to the world, little one!
The following day, Aaliyah got into her carpool once again to travel to the Town Hall for her job as a File Clerk. She was putting in good hours and working hard so she hoped to get a promotion soon.
Victoria tried cooking breakfast for herself and Horacio but, lacking the same level of skill as her sister, all she did was burn the omelettes.
"Horacio! Breakfast is... ready!" she called up the stairs to her husband in the shower.
Later that day, Horacio completed work on the car. He got inside and revved the engine, listening to the purr of his days of hard effort. All it needed now was a lick of paint and he'd have his very own vintage car to drive around town!
That afternoon, Aaliyah returned from work with her much longed-for promotion! She was now a Law Firm Receptionist. She may only be answering phones and making notes, but without a degree she knew she had to work twice as hard to climb the ladder. She would get there eventually.
Round 9 - Winter - The Lopez Family
So, back to my BACC and onto Round 9 and it's the first ever Winter in Wildflats Peninsula! (Mainly because we've had eight rounds - 28 years - without a single cough or cold from this hardy, sun-kissed bunch, which means no chance for unlocking the Medicine career and thus no clinic. If I want to follow my rules strictly, my human same sex couples can't procreate without a clinic so I need some illnesses and a town doctor STAT!)
The new round also brings a new family - the Lopezes! The Lopez family is based on one from my previous BACC (the Martinez family). Their personalities and zodiacs etc. are basically the same but I've adjusted their faces in CAS so that (hopefully) they can have non-face 2 babies!
Their ROS roll is pretty much negligible as they don't have to pay tax this round. I may carry it over to next round if I remember, but it's only §100 so 🤷♀️
This is Horacio Lopez. He moved to Wildflats Peninsula with his wife to start their married life together. He was a bit annoyed when his sister-in-law came along too, but couldn't really say no!

They will be living at 4 Birch Alley, a new house that has been constructed next to where Pietro Rossellini and Dudley Tomlinson are now living (in Mayor Jennifer's old house).
The ground floor has a small lounge area and a kitchen/diner. I moved the bookshelf after taking this picture as no one could access it.
Upstairs, there is a double bedroom, a nursery and a small bathroom.
The basement level has been converted into another double bedroom and bathroom. This will be Aaliyah's living space until she finds/needs a place of her own.

Sierra was just amusing herself for basically the whole day. Bless! At least she has now learnt all of her essential toddler skills so there's nothing more to worry about there!
When Victoria finally went inside, it was to celebrate Sierra's first birthday with her family. Aaliyah was still thinking about her recent promotion as they all cheered for the nooboo...
