Role Swap | Horde AU where Glimmer struggles through her redemption arc as she returns to Bright Moon as its long-lost princess, and Bow inevitably heads to his corruption arc when he's left behind in the Horde—or at least, that's the idea.

This is M rated. *Nothing overly explicit happens though... yet. I just want to be sure. I am also obsessed with this so I might turn it into a series, idfk yet

Heyyyyy, so remember my dark AU where Glimmer and Catra are swapped? Where Catra was adopted by George and Lance and raised as Bow's sister who fights for the rebellion while Shadow Weaver took Glimmer and raised her as the dark princess?

Horde Glimmer... but Glimbow!

Today’s prompt for @glimbow-week-2020​ was Glimbow Swap / Horde Glimmer and I have a brand new story for you all today called Prince Bow and Archer Glimmer.      

But I have also written a Horde Glimmer fic and now seems like an excellent time to remind you of! It also takes place after Princess Prom so it kinda works for that prompt too!

There are some other Horde!Glimmer fics but not many (if any!) of them have her still end up with Bow so, yeah, enjoy!

Another World

Glimmer has never known anything but life in the Horde, learning sorcery and dark magic as the favored ward of the manipulative Shadow Weaver. When Force Captain Adora defects and becomes a warrior for the rebellion known as She-Ra, Glimmer discovers the truth about who she was before Shadow Weaver took her from Bright Moon as a baby. But Glimmer is too invested in the Horde’s mission to crush the rebellion and take over Etheria to care about her royal past. Now that she's captured Adora's two closest allies, Catra and Bow, from Princess Prom, she’s finally poised to achieve everything she’s worked so hard for.

But why does winning feel so lonely? And why can’t she stay away from the rebellion archer who makes her wonder if maybe there’s another world where it doesn’t have to be like this?

Bow doesn't have a lot of dialogue in my Evil Glimmer AU fic because the entire time his inner monologue is the Etherian equivalent of this Ralph Wiggum GIF.
