It's that time of year again!

Time to celebrate Bright Moon’s bisexual power couple, Glimmer and Bow from Dreamworks and Netflix’s She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (2018)!

As is our tradition, the week will start on Bow’s birthday (September 9th) and continue for seven days of fics, art, meta, edits and more celebrating our beloved sparkle queen and archer!

Not sure how to participate? Simply make something celebrating Glimmer and Bow, post it between Sept 9th-15th, and tag us on Tumblr, Instagram or Twitter so we can share it with everyone!

Headcanon: When they get married, Glimmer and Bow decide to honeymoon at Mystacor. Glimmer isn’t exactly...thrilled at how her aunt is about having her niece and new nephew-in-law staying with her for a while, but they’d always loved the beaches there, and thought it’d be the perfect honeymoon spot. 

Especially when Glimmer’s aunt - and the other sorcerers- rarely visit the beach, meaning the two of them had plenty of privacy the whole time.

Word count: 356

Summary: One day, hundreds, perhaps even thousands of years in the future, the story of She-ra, of the Horde, of the Princess Rebellion, of the war, would all become myth.

One day, hundreds, perhaps even thousands of years in the future, the story of She-ra, of the Horde, of the Princess Rebellion, of the war, would all become myth. Legend. There would come a time where nothing on Etheria was known but peace, where no one remembered anything but.

But in those future years, they would tell stories. They would tell stories of the mighty She-ra and how she defeated the old evil known as the Horde. They would tell stories of how she befriended people across the planet and united them all.

And they’d tell stories of a queen, named Glimmer. A queen who lost her mother so young but stepped up and led her kingdom and her planet anyway. And they’d tell the story of Glimmer and her king, Bow. They’d tell the story of how two childhood best friends grew up together and grew into love with each other. They’d tell the story of a daring declaration of love on the battlefield, both too terrified of losing their love to the war that they couldn’t keep it in any longer, although perhaps that part of the story gets changed around through word of mouth and there was a kiss… and a proposal… but such things happen when something isn’t written down. 

They’d tell the story of their courtship and how their wedding was the most extravagant ever seen, and no one has dared tried to top it since, since no one could come close to the love that this queen had for her king and this king for his queen. They would tell the story of their many children… and their many grandchildren… the large family that they made. 

And they would tell the story how, one night, they both passed away, peacefully, in their sleep, smiling and holding on to each other and doing even death the way they had done everything else in their life: together. Because not even death could them do part.

Yes, they would tell the story of Glimmer and Bow. A queen and her king. A princess and an archer. Friends. Lovers. They would tell their story.
