Mythology: German or Germanic Mythology (most of the myth got lost in time however)

Size: Large, the size of a Rhinoceros I think

Environment: Probably bogs, swamps, forests, caves, urban

In Mythika: Because there is so little information about them in the real myth, you can go wild with your own imagination. In Mythika Horerczy look like humongous toad horrors which seem to glow from the inside with rainbow like lights, this is because they have a magical stomach created from Alp-Butterflies which at night leave their Horerczy body and go hunting for the breath and energy of sleeping victims. In the morning after they have fed on the breath of countless victims they return to the Horerczy body and enter its gaping maw again to nourish the creature with the collected breath. While they are very lazy creatures, facing one in melee combat isn’t wise as they have lots of strength and they spit the swarm of Alps at attackers to distract them. If you kill the Alp-Swarm the Horerczy won’t die, but it will become vulnerable to attacks and it takes a lot of time to replenish the swarm-like stomach giving it less breath to feed on and so they become hungry, desperate and weak. The Sinlord of Sloth is said to be behind their creation and has some of these demonic amphibians as pets.
