LORE TIDBITS! (Please note I will be interchangeably be using his pronouns!)
Horizon uses these sets of pronouns: he/him, they/them, script/scripts/scriptself, xe/xem, and potentially other neopronouns in the future. You can use just one set when referring to script or interchangeably use them.
Horizon does NOT like she/her or it/it's used on them. This is partially from being raised as a girl and treated like an object because of his robotic parts.
Horizon is on HRT and has had top surgery. They consider themselves both a guy and nonbinary.
They are attracted to masculine people, usually guys and masc genderqueers. Androsexual / gay are the terms they identify with in terms of sexuality.
Horizon changed his name AFTER being hired, liking being called HQ so much that they made sure script's name could shorten to that. Xe also thought it was funny.
Alright I think that's all for gender, pronouns, and sexuality. Let's move on to other stuff!
HQ has special made robotic limbs for his left arm and right leg (knee down). They were in an accident that caused them to lose his limbs earlier on. (I may expand later but feel free to interpret your own lore for the loss of limbs!)
They're fairly proud of how their robotic arm looks, always ripping the sleeve to make sure he can show it off. However, xe is more self conscious about their robotic leg.
The gray color palette is inspired by the original design. The artist originally tried to make HQ as androgynous as possible (and devs made them a man anyway) so some of this is in honor and inspiration of the original artist's wishes.
The grays can also be so you can interpret HQ as anything you like, respectfully!
Horizon hates cleaning their robotic arm and leg when he has to. Xe puts it off as long as possible.
The limbs were special made by Echoshell for them to replace his old crappy ones that they barely afforded at the time. They work closer to real limbs than some other prosthetics, though they still have their issues.
Yes, horizon has a cat. The cat has not been determined in looks yet.
Also, horizon has a really chill job. They're not really good or bad, more... Morally gray than anything. He does fight Sebastian over the intercoms sometimes though.
They will also occasionally prank Crystal Project peeps... (Fragments? I'm probably going to call them that cuz that idea was sick thank you)
They have an apartment in the city with a nice view. What can I say, Echoshell pays him very well.
Also, if anyone has any ideas, notes, or other, this is I believe my first time writing someone with this disability and any tips are appreciated! I want to represent through them best I can :)
