This is probably a silly questions, but for the email surveys we're making up a character right? Like I can make up a name and family and stuff instead of using my own? I just wanted to make sure

Not silly at all! It has been confusing for a number of people, in part because I was rather hesitant to explain it to you in excruciating detail. I wanted the experience to feel as real as possible, so I refrained from sending out a list of instructions. That being said, I am totally fine with clarifying things and answering questions as they come up. This is not the kind of thing our audience is used to, and I understand that.

You can absolutely make everything up. Change your name, age, gender, height, personality, whatever you want. Or you can just pretend that it’s you but in this fictional universe. The only rule is that it can’t break the narrative. So saying that you are a mind-reading ghost from Atlantis is not gonna fly (no matter how cool that sounds).
