Youkai Ningen Bem (2011)

Haha, okay, so I'm going to be posting a Noblesse/Youkai Ningen Bem (2011) fic soon (it's been up on my writing journal for a couple of months now though) - …Excuse me while I go be amused at how the ending theme pops up on my mp3 while I write this… - I decided to make a primer/rec post for Youkai Ningen Bem (2011). Because I love this series. 8D

And that's the midway point. If they lose control of their emotions completely? As soon as they end up showing their true form, they know that's when the screaming is going to start. But even though they know this, they cannot stop rushing in and helping people, even though they know they will have to run from the town/city again once their true form has been revealed, because if they just ignored humans who needed their help, then they really would be nothing but monsters. And when they're in their true form? They see differently! 8D

This is where they live for the series. Yep. They are a little out of touch with modern…everything. They don't know what warm rice tastes like. What do they normally eat? Stuff picked from the local park. No, I'm being serious. Oh, did I mention Bem has super hearing, Bela has super sight, and Belo has super smell? 8D Well, they do. They also spend so much time on rooftops spying on people. It's hilarious. XD XD Right. Okay. Plot. I love it, basically. 8D The three accidently (Bem, to begin with) gain the attention of this dorky detective: And for a more serious screencap: He likes his chocolate. A lot.

He also invites them over to his house on their second meeting. Originally because he was suspicious, and wanted to ask Bem questions, but still. So the three have to hide how little they actually know and what they are because they don't want to leave this person who doesn't hate them (but they know he will as soon as he sees their true forms) and is actually nice to them.

Every episode, there's a development that progresses the plot and you want to find out what happens next. (The end of episode 7! All the episodes that followed after it! Aaaaaaa!) I love the music in this too. :D And, just, everything  connects.

...Right, I've been doing this post for about four hours now. I think I need to stop. ORZ; But now I want to rewatch all these. XD;;

But, yeah, there's only ten episodes to this series, and each episode is 45 minutes long. :)
