Yeah, you are right, I confused the associations the name has in Dante with the meaning. The final -trix reminds of "tris", three, and I often saw a connection being drawn between that and Dante's insistence on number three (and nine). But yes, the actual meaning is "she who gives blessing/joy", from "beatus". (Bringer of light would be "Lucifera/o")
