A few pages for a Pokemon horror story. Acrylic paint on black paper (Except for the Dusclops design at the bottom, that’s digital... and also the one in the corner is a reference and belongs to Nintendo and Ken Sugimori) The parapsychologist and ghost pokemon enthusiast Frayne Cassi enters the anual turnament to test his skill as a trainer. In his fight for a place in the finale a sucker punch from another trainer’s Golisopod practically punctures Frayne’s Dusclops and reveals the void inside, which in turn sucks the Golisopod in, never to be seen again. “ Dusclops's body is completely hollow - there is nothing at all inside. It is said that its body is like a black hole. This Pokémon will absorb anything into its body, but nothing will ever come back out.” - Ruby Pokedex After this Frayne disappears. A rumor begins to circle around town that the metro is haunted. Frayne’s old friend, Josh, investigates this rumor and finds Frayne’s Pokemon partner, Sableye, who leads him to an old, abandoned apartment building. Then this^ happens. “ Its body is hollow. It is said that those who look into its body are sucked into the void.” - Diamond/Pearl Pokedex In the end, Frayne ends up in a mental institution and the poor Dusclops is treated at a hospital. The police find out that in the years Frayne has been missing, he has left the apartment less and less frequently. He spent all his time studying and experiment with the void inside dusclops to the point where he went mad and tried to send his Pokemon inside. They were all swallowed up. Josh decides take care of Sableye though it frequently attempts to escape and run back to it’s old trainer and friend.
