I usually don’t post pictures with my face, but I couldn’t help it. First time riding a horse in 20+ years. My first lesson at Perrydale Trails. My lesson horse is a 20 year old paint gelding named Doc. Can’t wait to go back next week for another lesson.
Dumb Riding Ideas
Don’t tell your trainer about insecurities and problems you have while riding, it’s not like your paying them to help you improve.
Another not quite Homesteading post. I love horses. Always have. I have also always wanted my own horse. But I haven’t been on one in give or take 20 years. So I decided I will be doing lessons. I have them set up to start next month, and this awesome gelding will be my teacher.
We are a horse first business with horse recreational activities as our funnel to bring proper education on horse care and love to any person with an interest.

The MJ Equestrian Center has been giving Private & Semi-Private Equestrian Horseback Riding Lessons for ages 4yrs (PeeWee) to Adult, Guided Trail Rides for ages 12yrs to Adult since 1997 your in experienced hands when you enroll yourself, your family or your friends in our Western, English or Bareback Horseback Riding Private or Semi-Private lessons, you’ll receive top-notch horse riding lesson instruction in both proper horse care & safety around horses, horseback riding is fun, relaxing and therapeutic, proven to be very beneficial to your Metal health. Our Private or Group Horseback Riding Lesson Programs are Available in single sessions or monthly packages of 4 at a discounted rate for, 30min, 45min or 1-hr duration sessions year-round for age(s) 4yr’s to adults, maximum rider weight 275#, beginners welcome through advanced skilled riders can come learn, explore, and enjoy horseback riding in our 3ac arena with 12-fun trail obstacles course to navigate, 5-jumps standards, 5-Raised Cavaletti’s, 3-barrels for clover pattern barrel racing, 6-poles for pole bending, and much more.
