our gelding, who is getting up there in years, did and we started washing his hay and it helped A TON.
When my mom's gelding was recovering from his broken jaw that's what we were doing because he was producing enough saliva. It's hard to do anything with her feed because she's in a large herd at my uncle's where I feel like it's not a big enough issue to make the person who is letting me keep her there for free to individually feed her. I'm definitely going to talk to the vet about it. It seems like it's not uncommon so hopefully I can help her out a little with the sensitivity.
