Domestic Hophie Headcanons
When they aren’t bickering (playful banter, not fighting) they’re definitely the most loving and soft couple imo so here are some hophie cooking hcs! Thanks to @baetrixv who helped with it :))
Sophie is bad at cooking. Or rather in the words of sofia, “she looks like she’d burn the rice”
Only she doesn’t think she’s bad at cooking
Sophie is vegan (and her diet also consists of excluding a few dozen other foods she’s concluded as unhealthy). So whenever she cooks she thinks she’s doing well because she associates bland/bad taste to healthy
And then Hort comes along, master chef (not really but he enjoys cooking and he’s good at it) and Sophie is all
“???¿?wHAT DID YOU PUT IN IT” because it tastes delicious, surely she can’t have any of it
But Hort goes:
“Just my love for you 💕”
“And salt :))”
They then get in a long discussion about food, Hort eventually asking-
“Does Gavaldon not have any spice? How have you lived this long!”
“Yes but—”
“But?”
“Well, there was this rumour going around that they may clog pores, and you know I don’t what to risk any—” (sofia: Sophie don’t be daft tumeric is good for you)
Hort then shows her how to use spices and cook good food with what she can can eat (hort: don’t be shy put some more) however turns out she’s just naturally bad at cooking
In conclusion, it was unanimously decided that Hort would cook
Sophie: where did you even learn all this?
Hort: helped out the chief cook on the boat as a kid
