Another Byzantine church for you lot! This one was in Delphi, and was definitely my favourite. It's called Hosios Loukas, and is just...so beautiful; it's sat on a cliff side, so part of its courtyard overlooks the valley. Absolutely stunning view.
Again, the frescos!!! Done by hand—all of this built by hand—in the 10th century AD. I spent so long in the main building just soaking everything up. While it's still in Delphi, it's a massive while off from any sort of major cities, and far off from a main road, so all you could here was the low chatter of people and the birds. Genuinely heavenly.
