Weaving Palm Branches is a critical part of the Easter story in Ghana. Before Easter became about bunnies and eggs, it was a dramatic story of love, betrayal, sacrifice and hope. The concept of a loving God is almost lost on the world now; especially when all we seem to see from religious folk is judgment, violence, intolerance and outright hypocrisy.
