.... I feel as though he could have done this better. Do I feel good to have waged war against my own kind and humanity in this way? No. Do I see where he is coming from? Yes.

He lives up to the face he wears, sweetness but holds such terrible power that can end the world. We are doing our best to tilt his anger and wrath to other things. He can do so much good for the world, I know he can, but he is blinded by rage and hate. He brought us back after all, something humanity has only dreamed of. And yet I fear Fall is fanning his flames of revolution and sabotaging our attempts to calm him down. But... I still have faith in Chickadee. He will do the right thing when the time comes.

All things right themselves in the end, and he is no different.

Hey vanya, what is your honest opinion of Reve?

M!A Chapter Zero (9/10)

… *sigh* it is complicated. The boy is a perpetual child, seeking approval and guarding it jealousy when he receives it. I feel as though he has been so many other people throughout his life that he has left very little room for himself and his own feelings. His life has been a cycle of gain and loss, and that can put an enormous strain on anyone's psyche, let alone a developing child. He neglects his found family in place of a family he can never truly have, something he has created in his own mind, and when something challenges that, he becomes combative and aggressive.

His genuine self is his best self, as ghastly as it can be at times. When he isn't pretending to be anyone else, or trying to garner someone else's approval, he is at his best. Stability allows him to appreciate what he still has, and come to terms with how he views the family that raised him. I want him to be happy with the arcana that he has. They are his real family. I am papa to him, and I love him as a son, but nothing I do or say will ever take away from their true contributions to his life and upbringing. They reared him, fed him, kept him safe as best they could from the horrors outside. He treats them abominably, and teaching him to appreciate what he has is my greatest focus with him. Reve must become his own person and learn to love what he has if he is to grow. … I can only hope to help him.
