I have to say for some reason Hermann gives me Host of influence vibes (a creature from vita carnis)

So i drew him as a host lmao

Informations/Research:

Unlike typical Hosts this hosts coloration and appearance is a little different. Its faceplating shows more clear humanoid features. Those are not functional yet it can seem from afar quite human looking. The rest of its skin plating is in a dark green hue and longer than typical hosts. Combined with the crest of hair like tubes arround its neck makes it look like a coat if the observer is not looking directly or stands far away. It also has what looks like hair on its head which further aids in its uncanny disguise. If it sences prey it sometimes makes movements that can be mistaken for someone looking arround. Its theorised that this kind of host does this to get prey sooner than its spores will allow. This kind of host got also observed shooting its spores bundled in a targeted direction if a person is nearby. Researchers think this might be a sign of a higher intelligence than the typical host showed. Research is inconclusive as of yet.
