September 20 After the family meetup the night before I went to Saitama with Okaasan and Ayuko. When I woke up in the morning the two of the just left for yoga class and Okaasan had prepared breakfast for me ^^ Kaiserschmarn in pancake form haha I brought her some Kaiserschmwarn flour from Germany so we had a sweet breakfast that day ^^

Zum ersten Mal nicht Zuhause

Also generell Weihnachten so weit weg ist ja schon irgendwie komisch, aber da meine Familie tatsächlich eine der besten ist die man haben kann (und das sag ich nicht ohne Grund) war es doch ganz “erträglich” :)

Da die Familie von meinem Hostdad so weit weg lebt, haben wir am Sonntag quasi ein “before Christmas”-Brunch gehabt mit seiner ganzen Familie. Luise durfte…

4# Conversations

On tuesday morning, after waking up, I went to the kitchen to have breakfast and I found my host-mum working on her new article, since in her free time she writes for a magazine. We talked for half an hour about my plans for the next days and about a lot of other things. I really admire her: she's a lyrical singer and she's also a very wise person. Talking with her makes me always in a good mood, because she doesn't judge anything, she just gives her advice. She's really openminded. We made together some really deep speechs, we talked about life, about dreams, about psychology.. I mean, I everytime feel confidant.

Visum 3.0

Trotz Chaos …

ist mein Visum heute ENDLICHangekommen. :) Nachdem es eigentlich Dienstag schon hätte kommen sollen & der Postbote es einfach nicht zugestellt hat, war gestern totales Chaos hier. Just taught my host mum how to play bananagrams! It was such an intense game but so much fun. I am so pleased I have a positive, friendly relationship with her!

My host mum decided today that I am going to write up a menu for the next months worth of dinners so she knows what she will be cooking for dinner every night. She also decided that we needed some variety so I rang my mum for some NZ inspiration because I have forgotten everything about dinners in New Zealand (not like we have our own cuisine or anything). 

So we will see how this works out..

I love my host mum so much!

She takes off all the kids breaks from school so we can go on awesome adventures altogether, we have the best conversations ever, she trusts me with the kids while she travels, she is always there to help if the kids cause mayhem (like last week) and SHE IS TAKING ME TO ANOTHER ISLAND IN THREE WEEKS!
