India's fascination with the Hot Indian Aunty or Hot Bhabhi

When you are in your mid-teens it doesn't take much to get you excited. While this is true for all young boys as their raging hormones don't give them much of a choice, these boys often prefer a certain type of woman. Note that I say 'woman' and not girl. Around the time that boys hit puberty and the interest in girls shoots up there seems to be a significant increase in their interest in the proverbial Hot Indian Aunty. Boys used to obsess over some teachers whose low-cut sleeveless blouses showed us their cleavage and arms. The teachers themselves probably only rarely realized the effect of their stylish, for the 1990's, or fashionable dressing.

We, in India, are in the habit of using Aunty or Uncle when addressing anyone from our parents' generation. We don't actually have to be related. But the fact that the person you are speaking to someone significantly older, be it a shopkeeper or an acquaintance or your parents' friends, is enough for them to be addressed with the title Aunty or Uncle. We Indians believe in giving respect and I suppose that this is our way of doing it. You would be hard-pressed to find a young boy or girl addressing someone much older, say 15-20 years older, by his first name. Also, we do not call such people by the usual titles that western countries use such as Mr Smith or Ms Jones. Here it is acceptable in business to be 'westernized' but almost never on a personal level. Of course, things are changing but there are some phrases which will probably be popular way past my lifetime (I still have many decades to go).

So, when schoolboys refer to Aunties, they may be talking about anyone from age 21 to around 40. And this vast age-group is filled with typical examples of what is considered to be a Hot Indian Aunty.

Take a look at some of the pictures of Silk Smitha posted in this article . She was the most famous softcore porn star of the Indian Film Industry. Porn is illegal in India and so most men had to make do with camera angles that showed Smitha's ample (well, more than ample) cleavage and her XXL rear end with a few swimsuit scenes thrown in. Maybe that is where the concept of the 'Hot Indian Aunty' was born. There is not a single Man in India who has seen a movie, any movie, but has not heard of Silk Smitha. She is famous throughout the country. Even today's college-going crowd is going to be introduced to her in an upcoming movie, 'The Dirty Picture', starring Vidya Balan who is playing the role of Silk Smitha in this movie adaptation of the softcore star's life story.

Perhaps, we didn't have a choice but to prefer 'aunties'. Most men probably start to notice women, and not just girls, when we hit puberty. Most women would have larger breasts that a 13-15 year old girl. And keeping that in mind, it is a natural attraction that boys have for women. Another important factor is marriage. The trend in India is such that immediately after marriage you are invited to many family gatherings and for the first few months of your marriage you are treated as if you are made of very breakable glass. Everyone is always trying to feed you; all Indians love to provide friends, family and guests with a hearty meal and will insist on you having some more rice or another 2 Puris until you are so stuffed that it becomes hard to move. And after that, they will force-feed you some more. So, right after marriage, the bride and groom both, often start to gain a few kilos. This works well for all the horny young boys in the neighborhood because now they have some more cleavage to catch a glimpse of. The newlywed bride would have had clothes made as per her size BEFORE the wedding but within a few weeks everything is tighter, more curves start to appear and it seems to the lustful gazers the she wants to show off her body in tight clothes. It's not true of course. Indian culture, even with gay and lesbian relationships being legal, has no place for women who embrace their sexuality. But today we are speaking about women who do not want to  expose their body in any way to anyone other than their husbands (maybe not even them).

The Hot Indian Bhabhi is a North Indian phrase. Bhabhi actually means Elder Brother's Wife, or Sister-in-law. But since we have to give respect to all elders, we call men who are older than us by a few years 'Bhaiya', meaning Elder Brother. You don't actually have to consider someone a brother. 'Bhaiya' is what any boy or girl would call a young man in his twenties or early thirties , i.e the young groom who married the bride mentioned above. No teenager in India would ever look at his brother's wife but since the title 'Bhaiya' is used so easily in India it is but natural for the term Bhabhi to be popular.

When newlywed women in India gain some weight and their blouses, kurtas and t-shirts seem to get tighter every year no matter how often they buy newer (and larger) clothes. The same may happen with married men who often end up with ridiculously large bellies, ill-fitting pants and shirts with buttons ready to pop out at any moment, but this article is definitely NOT about fat old men.

So, with a growing bustline and an expanding girth the Hot Bhabhi slowly transforms into the Hot Aunty and still continues to remain the object of the fantasies of all the boys (and often some young men) in the neighborhood.

With the internet entering 1 out of 10 homes in India as of early 2011, it has become easy for youngsters to find the objects of their affection on various online sites. In the late 1990's there was a very popular website where Indian and Pakistani lovers of the Bhabhi and Aunty genre were regular writers and readers. This common fascination for plump women, with well-endowed bosoms and large rounded hips, of Indian and Pakistani origin brought youngsters of these two countries together on this website in a never-before-seen frame of mind of complete and utter co-operation with each other. It does seem true that love conquers although there would be a large element of lust in this case. Still, there are those who would do anything to keep the peace. Maybe this is a solution.

What prompted me to write about this is that a few visitors have come across my website to a particular page while searching for Hot Aunties on google. some of the searches that brought traffic to my website in the Aunty category are Fuck Aunty, Jayalalitha Fucking, Jayalalitha bikini and so on. The article that these visitors end up reading (Read not reading) contains my opinion on a political campaign of Current CM of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalita. The poor sods don't realize until the page loads that they have reached a place where it is important to use your brain, not just your hand. My bounce rate (number of people who close the window right way) is 100% on that page for people who reached there hoping to see nude photos of J Jayalalitha or Silk Smitha or whoever they were searching for. We can thank Google Analytics for this detailed information.

As long as we have memories & movies of Silk Smitha, neighborhood bhabhis and hot indian aunties, the internet (esp. Google) shall always send people to this website looking for them. If you are one of them, then all I can say is, "I know why you are here, my friend, and I understand. I really do."
