BluePerk: First Day of Interviews
My Selection:
Button Down: J Crew Jeans: 7 for All Mankind Shoes: Cole Haan Belt: H&M Tie: J Crew Watch: D&G Ring: Marc Jacobs
My Thoughts:
First off I am sorry for the picture quality, without my boyfriend with me in New York. I do not have his camera, or him here to take my photo for me. Thus the main reason I am posting this a day late. This was my look yesterday for my two internship interviews I had. For those of you that are currently in the city know it is boiling hot, and you can tell I am smiling. Mainly because this was before I had to venture out into the city wearing jeans and a button down, in what felt like more than 100 degrees.
Back to my selection though, I choose to wear jeans because I felt it would make my look less stuffy yet still professional. The button down was a must, luckily my boyfriend and I are the same size. My shoes were a steal that a got a couple of weeks prior at Nordstroms Rack on sale for less than half of the regular price. I had been wanting a pair for forever and when I saw them, I knew I had to have them! Next is my tie, that I found a J Crew on sale for more than half price as well a couple of weeks ago. The colors complemented my button down and jeans perfectly, almost as I had bought the tie for the outfit. Yet, this out came together after everything was purchased. The last two pieces my watch and tie clip were just the cherry on top accessories to finish my outfit off.
What are your thoughts of my outfit? Also if you'd like to know where I interviewed at feel free to ask.
