wraiths, banshees, ghouls, etc. Mandy resides in planes far beyond our own, in realms of chaos (where she can create her own landscapes). In the physical world, rumors abound that she resides in abandoned buildings (like cathedrals) and slums where’s she’s disguised as an old beggar; but the most widely speculated is that of an old lair down the hills where supposedly Mandy kept the bodies from the early days of her personal journey. The group is currently making their way down to the location.
This Mandy is very cool! She's can create her own landscapes! 😱
She seems very antagonistic and oriented towards baneful things, and so I'm gonna assume that her landscapes may also contain torture chambers. I can't say that there is any evidence of that, but it seems that Mandy is focused on exacting some form of revenge on this world. She's also making herself into some type of "anti-god" with the chaotic realms and creatures of darkness, which could be her version of an angelic army. It would make perfect sense that she lures people in and does...something to them as some righteous sadist. She even hangs out in abandoned cathedrals, where there is no god around.
That group has no idea what they are getting themselves into. Why in the world would you want to go to her lair?! I mean, I guess it makes sense in the context of research. I've just heard so many horror stories of historians, archaeologists, or tourists experiencing untimely deaths after visiting sites like these. I wouldn't do that!
I never imagined Mandy as a peasant maiden villager or in a dark fantasy story, but it all fit her so well. I like her as an "anti-goddess" and commander of an army of underworld souls and dark creatures. She seems so distant and that she identifies more with "evil" spirits than anything else. I would doubt that she was ever a bored maiden; I would think that she was always a baneful spirit lurking in the woods, waiting for the perfect moment to attack.
I'm just thinking about the differences between "Mandytale" and "Corpse Mandy". Corpse Mandy sought to liberate and recreate the world in her own image (as she had become a spirit or ghost in a shell). She is an antiheroine. Mandytale Mandy may not have the same intentions, but yet they both liberated souls from their supposed confines. She's more like the Mandy from "Hot Statues", which I now think is actually dead. I thought that she was pronounced dead after being missing for years, but now I'm starting to think that there is a zombie girl out here killing people and dipping them in wax. 😅
"Hot Statues" Mandy was a trickster sadist, and "Mandytale" Mandy seems to be a sadist too...but there's something a bit different about her because she's basically an anti-goddess with a true mission (of which I struggle to truly identify).
I love this story. I can't believe a bored peasant maiden managed to become so powerful that she can free souls from the underworld and summon banshees...Too scary and too good!
Side Note: I'm shy about posting my response to your question about Sam and Mandy's intimate moments. 😳😳😳
display. But as the party literally got hotter, the wax statues began to melt. Actually it looked like their FLESH was melting. The party guests were horrified to find out that these were in fact real human beings murdered and dipped in wax. Mandy sat by the coffee table, listening to the news report about an investigation being held and the culprit still not found. Not like they could get her even without a disguise. After all she’s been dead for who knows how many years already.
Mandy! 😱😱😱
She's killing people to create wax statues! But why?
Mandy takes sadistic pleasure in having tricked those business people into purchasing dead bodies that they thought were super realistic wax statues. This may be the point of her crime. She wants to bring terror to unsuspecting people in the form of other people's corpses. That makes sense considering that she has been dead for years, either literally or "legally" (she went missing and was never found?). What happened to her?
I like that there is no closure in this story. I don't know why Mandy is killing people and dipping their bodies in wax. I don't know why or how Mandy has been dead for years. This makes me identify with the horror and fear of the other characters, who will be asking "why" for the rest of their lives. Why would someone do that? And who did it? It's so chilling!
“Hot Statues” The wax statues were finalized and brought to the people who hired her for the services. Mandy from Totally Spies wore a white wig and blue eye contacts to mask her true form as well as flesh makeup as she met with them and introduced the cutting edge wax statues. The business men and women adored them and payed Mandy her rewards. She soon drove off and used an ATM to get the money in paper to burn it. One night, the businesspeople held a party where they showed the wax statues on
Mandy disguised herself just to deliver wax figures? She then burned the money she earned from them? That's weird! She's clearly up to no good, but what is specifically going on here? 🤔
