Keith was a Hot Topic scene kid in middle school that did the Naruto run during the mile because “it makes you run faster I swear.”

(Uh a short story yeah)

Shiro tried to understand as he watched his brother write MCR lyrics on his arm with a Sharpie, as they waited in line at the Hot Topic. Keith was buying ripped jeans that had safety pins on them, along with Gir jacket. Shiro watched as his bro pulled out a Black Butler wallet once the cashier started ringing up his purchase. 

“So this Gir guy, what’s he like?” Shiro tries, Keith groans, hating to talk to the “normies” and the “parentals”.

“He likes cupcakes, you won’t get it Shiro.” Keith mummers, tying the laces of his Nightmare Before Christmas sneakers up before heading out the Hot Topic store, and you strained to hear him since Paramore was blasting in the speakers. 

(I never went through the scene phase, but my best friend did. So did others who was going through the early 2000′s I hope we never return to that life.)
