It gives me hope that many young people are flocking to hear musicians who present good old-fashioned big-band/Swing music. It goes under a variety of names, such as "hot jazz" or "trad jazz." Groups that create and re-create such music are suddenly "in." I have in mind Vince Giordano's Nighthawks, or the Hot Sardines, or maybe this one, the Glenn Crytzer Orchestra. Listen up. This is a joy.
