“I don’t know if you heard the warning, but you gotta stay inside.” Peter stated, looking at the other. “It’s too dangerous to go outside, and I don’t think you wanna become roadkill.”

Katri was in a hallway when a teacher told her she had to get to a classroom, of course she didn’t actually listen to them. She ultimately made it out of her building and started to wander the grounds. She didn’t know where she was exactly but she knew she was looking for something.

She looked around until she heard some noises, loud noises. “Well that could be an issue,” she thought out loud.

Normally Bruce had more restraint than he did, but a combination of lack of sleep, food, and stress piled onto stress made such a minor spat escalate into something hellish. It had been years since he had a post-traumatic episode like the one he did and it was set off by the most menial of confrontations. This should not have happened, yet here he was transformed into the green goliath and breaking anything he could get his hands on. It was rare that Hulk got this upset and any reminders of Brian was one of the things that set him off into a pang of anger that was almost savage. 

The rims of his eyes were red and bloodshot as he roared and punched massive fists through walls and against floors. Each shock wave shook the floor beneath him and caused dust to shake off from the ceilings of classrooms below. Alarms went out and evacuation orders were set, but those inside the building would have to be fast to escape being in the cross hairs of Hulk’s rage. His screams grew louder and louder the more he envisioned the father figure in his head, hand outstretched and insults flying about how useless both he and Banner were. 

We are not stupid. 

We are stronger than everyone. 

Hulk is the strongest one there is! 

Hulk smash! 

So away the monster went at pounding at the building. It was not long before the floor crumbled beneath him and he fell a good three stories through the ceiling. Rubble fell along with him and that only made him angrier. Yelling at the offending pieces of hardened plaster, he chucked them as hard as he could in any direction. Alarms started to ring out of the building now, which made Hulk stop and shout in the direction of the noise that only furthered the agitation. If anyone approached him then, they might have gotten hurt by rubble carelessly thrown aside in Hulk’s effort to escape the noise. 

Noise. That noise reminded him of that day. The bomb. The bullets. Betty--Ross. 

More screaming was released at the top of his lungs. If anyone saw, it was as if the Hulk grew in size right before their eyes. The whispers were true. If Hulk got angrier, he grew stronger. That unbridled strength was enough to nearly decimate the entire science building. A few agents tried their hands at facing the Hulk with guns loaded with sedatives, right down to the adamantium-tipped needle; a design of Banner’s. Each shot bounced right off of skin that grew thicker and Hulk knocked the men aside like they were rag dolls. 

He had to escape. Escape the noise. Escape the bullets. Find Betty. Find her. 

At the blink of an eye, the Hulk’s powerful legs carried him out of the building and all the way into the courtyard, where he wanted to be left alone as he kept punching at the concrete path over and over again. He wanted to be left alone. 

Why couldn’t he just be left alone?

Attention All Staff and Students!

It has come to our attention that there has been an incident in the science building. Until further notice, all students are to avoid it and the surrounding area. If you are currently in class, please remain in your current classroom unless otherwise instructed by your teacher. Those who are not in class should make their way to the main hall. Faculty are asked to remain with their classes, and those not presently teaching should ensure no students are lingering in the hallways, or anywhere that they could be at risk.

This is a plot that has been set up by a couple of our members, in which Bruce Banner has turned into the Hulk. While we encourage you to write your own threads surrounding this plot, remember that it is important not to godmod as the Hulk is being played by someone. If you would like your character to interact with him, please message Conner to discuss and plot!

Possible ideas for threads could include the evacuation of the science building, and reactions to what is going on - as you can see in the above announcement, the school has not made the Hulk’s involvement public knowledge so most students will likely be unaware as to what is going on at this time. 

There is also the potential for some injuries to occur if your character was in the science building or nearby, although please let us know if you are planning anything serious.

Attention All Students & Faculty

We are pleased to confirm that the situation has been handled. Due to the destruction caused, the science building will remain off limits until the appropriate assessments and repair works have taken place. Science classes will, where possible, take place in temporary classroom which will be set up in the school grounds sometime over the next few days. Any laboratory work will be conducted in one of the laboratories on the far side of campus.

It is with great relief that we can report there were no casualties, and we wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured.

As confirmed from the above announcement made to the students and staff, the Hulk has now been talked down. Please do not start any new threads set during the incident - this includes replying to starters. Threads that have already been started may be continued, but anything new from this point on can refer to what happened and deal with the aftermath, but should not be set during the incident.

Those who were injured are listed below. Please be realistic about how long it will take your characters to heal and the limitations that they will have during the recovery time. Even those who have enhanced healing powers will still take some time depending on the severity of their injuries.

Injuries:

Ben Barnes - fractured hand

Howard Stark - concussion, broken ribs, some internal bleeding

Piper Stark - leg injury, mild concussion

Charlotte LeBeau - cuts, broken leg, few broken ribs

Cirrus Lehnsherr - surgery to remove debris from her side

Gabriella Jones - broken leg

There was little that could pull Natasha away from Clint’s side under the circumstances, but the moment she’d heard what was going on at the school she hadn’t hesitated. 

Knowing others would have things under control in the hall, she started making her way towards the science building, or at least what had been the science building. Seeing the ruins, she came to a stop. “Shit.”
