“I have been keeping busy…” she said mischievously flickering the lights in the room, then laughing. “If we are being honest the downfall of this campus would take something of great magnitude.” She raised her eyebrow at him “anyone on campus you think could do such a thing?”

As soon as he noted the lights flickering, a smirk found its way onto his lips. “Devious. I like it.” Aris chuckled. “Oh I dunno, Banner did a good job of smashing some of the place up. I could do the same.” He said, holding his hand outward and gesturing to it as it changed to the familiar purple tone he knew, before turning back to normal. “I know a girl who’s not got her pyrokinesis under control. I’m sure she can help and not be blamed for it.”

           “how weird am i gonna sound if i say i don’t know what tinder is?” he asked, raising a brow and a short laugh coming from the titan. even if he didn’t know, he wouldn’t need to use it, regardless if he was in a relationship or not. “nothing, i’m just getting acquainted with parts of this place i’ve never really been to. i only ever go to my room, the gym or my boyfriend’s room. so i guess i need to find places to be able to help new students out in a few weeks.”

Haven tilted his head, considering the new information before he reacted. “Teaching? Really?” he asked, and he couldn’t hide the surprise in his voice. But still, he grinned and straightened in his seat, nodding his head. “That’s great! And well, you don’t necessarily have to be completely serious, I think. After all, you do want to be liked by your students.” Amusement ran in his tone as he focused his attention on Aris. “Do you know what you’ll be teaching?”

          “I know. I’m convinced Rogers doesn’t have his head screwed on fully to even consider a Thane to teach, but oh well. I’m also seriously surprised that Stark’s allowed it, considering the running he and my father had.” Aris added, a grin toying on his face. “Well I’m already the hottest, so that’s fine. I’m sure I’ll be liked by them.” Aris said with a slight shrug. He never cared about being liked or not. Throughout a lot of the galaxy, he wasn’t liked at all. Aris did develop an extremely thick skin at an early age. “Weapons Mastery, and archery when Clint isn’t around. Perfect fit if you ask me.”

She offered him her flask of vodka, and shrugged. “Wouldn’t know, the only time I actually taught a class, I had put one in a bubble for two hours because they pissed me.” Not counting the one where she throw a student out the window. “You’re going to be a TA for what class?”

          “Yep. I’m as shocked as you are. I still think Rogers is making a mistake, but eh. I guess he’s gotta know what he’s doing.” He shrugged. The brunette took the flask from her, soon taking a mouthful from it. “I guess I can be serious. Although I wonder how many kids will start taking my class just to see what a Titan looks like. To be honest, I’ve been like this...” He explained, gesturing to himself. “For a while, even sometimes I forget.” Aris added with a chuckle. “Weapons Mastery. I’ll do archery as well whenever Barton doesn’t do it.”

          "looks like your favourite titan isn’t gonna be leaving here anytime soon.” aris stated, looking at the other with a grin. not his usual devious one, but more like one of relief. despite he made it seem like he didn’t want to be there, the fact that he still could be was nice for him. “starting the new semester, i’m gonna be teaching here.” he added, rubbing the back of his neck with his right hand. “i know, it’s weird. rogers seems to think it’s a good idea, so... yeah. i’m gonna have to be all serious and shit, aren’t i?”

When Athena Became close to some people it was hard for her to let them go easily, She did truly enjoy his company and kindness towards her (especially being on a whole new planet).

She laughed brightly and smiled at him. “Of course! It really is my pleasure.” grinning lightly at him.

He chuckled and patted her shoulder. “Whatcha been doing since I was gone then?” Aris asked, raising a brow towards the other. The Titan looked around for a few moments before back at Athena. “Nothing major could’ve happened here in general since I see no collapsed buildings, things on fire... Damn.”

          “I do but I hate to break it to you, you were not the only one who does those things and you wouldn’t be the first person with record to get a position here.” He shrugs, looking at their roster — Aris’s record wouldn’t even put a bleep on radar if he weren’t closely watch because of his father. “Weapon’s mastery? Or at least archery, with Kate being active and Clint, being you know - Clint, I’m sure you’ll probably end up teaching the class.”

             “The offer is flattering, really.” Aris replied, tapping his fingertips against the wood of the desk for a few moments in thought. “See, both sound appealing. I’m interested in both. I guess I could always take the first and if Clint being Clint happens, then I can take over, I suppose” He stated. Aris indeed was extremely handy with weapons, considering he aided his father when it came to the numerous wars they had to fight together - building his own at various points as well. He raised a brow to himself as he thought before sitting forward, finally. “Alright, Rogers. You got yourself a deal, then.”

          ““Try not to sound like you’re guilty of something.” Steve smiled kindly, and rested the paper on the table. “Why not?” Given that the other actually stayed and finished ( or would have finish, Steve needs to check the list of graduates) his schooling in Earth with relatively little accidents, Steve doesn’t see why not. “I’m sure some, if not all your instructors will be glad to take you under their wings.”

          “Well I am though, do you not remember the numerous times you caught me doing stuff I shouldn’t be?” He asked, raising a brow. Aris was still extremely confused as he sat back in the chair he was on. “I mean... What do you even think I’d be good at?” The Titan questioned, sounding like he was even asking himself that question. If it wasn’t for the fact he was in a relationship, he’d have left Earth by now. As pathetic as that may have seemed, but Aris wouldn’t dare tell anyone that.

“Of course I did!” She smiled peacefully as he wrapped his arms around her, she wrapped her arms around his torso and embracing him back. “I’m glad that you are glad that I’m glad your back… I think” She said tongue-tied.

He chuckled and held her close for a few moments before stepping back. “I’m still surprised. The only person I assumed that missed me was Avery, and then there’s Peach too.” Aris replied. “So this was unexpected, and very nice of you.”

Avery’s mutation, at its most basic level, was absolute child’s play. Quite literally. He’d all but mastered the basics of telepathy, but anything beyond still proved challenging. You could hardly blame him for his lack of practice when testing it on other people was considered “unethical” and “cruel”. But what the staff didn’t know wouldn’t get him detention, so. 

His target on the other side of the quad suddenly shouting nonsense, only to quickly seem bewildered by his own outburst, had Avery nearly in tears from trying not to laugh outright. Still, he should have probably tried it a little less out in the open, which only occurred to him as he realized someone else was nearby. Uh, that was really weird, right? Like, what’s up with that guy, y’know? 

Aris had finished up some boxing training in the gym, and he was on his way back to his room. He decided to take a detour, looking around the place as he went. He was technically finished here now, and wasn’t sure how to feel about it. The choice between staying on Earth or going back to Titan was difficult for him. He pondered at the thought before catching one of the students making random noises and saying random things. 

He had a hunch about what had happened, so he looked around and spotted Avery. Luckily he was quite stealthy, and he managed to creep behind him until he stood on something that made a noise and gave away where he was. “Now now, I thought I was the devious one in this relationship.” Aris chuckled, wrapping his arms loosely around Avery from behind. “I think I might have to start being a dick again to compensate for it.”

He had been gone for sometime, she was excited to see him once again. “Welcome Back Aris… and I’m not ashamed to say that I’m glad you are home!” She laughed lightly at him and hopped up from her seat to give him a hug, grinning widely. 

“You actually missed me?” He asked, raising a brow towards her. He was slightly shocked by that. A grin spread across his face, wrapping his arms around her. “I’m glad that you’re glad I’m back.”
