new year’s eve was almost old news. he had gotten a new job, hung out with cassie, and was taking steps to see where the squad would be considering all the things he has found out thus far ( felicia and peter, harry not knowing about peter and spiderman  ). steps. baby steps. at least with peter’s aunt, he didn’t have to worry about any drama. unless .. ned shook his head of any paranoia lingering around aunt may as he walked on over to knock on her door. he was a motormouth sometimes, but he hoped that he hasn’t offended may in the days after new year’s. upon the door opening, the boy had gone off on an unrelated question; par for the course, since ned never wanted to start any conversation on a bad note. 

“aunt may, did you know that gordon ramsey said that they exercised in order to cure their hangover?”  it was from an episode of the said chef’s newest show, one that ned had enjoyed. it also made him miss europe, though for that part he felt guilty. seeing as one of his best friends didn’t have the best of memories there. maybe banned, who knows? comments on the internet saying stuff wasn’t the best source. “i’m not saying i’d do it, but i just wanted to know your opinion. ‘cause you know stuff. anyway, my lola made cake and she wanted you to have some. here you go!” he held the container in his arms and held it out to the older woman.  (  @hotauntmay​  )
