Mamihlapinatapei - The look between two people in which each loves the other but is too afraid to make the first move. Cloud/Cloud (RANDOM TWIN AU ENCOUNTER ANYONE?)

This was most definitely the weirdest thing that had ever happened to him. He couldn't help but feel drawn to this other version of himself that had appeared basically out of nowhere. What had happened to make him appear, anyway? They'd been trying to figure it out for days now, but no answers had made themselves apparent.

And it didn't help that the connection between them was bone deep and visceral. Every time he glanced at his twin--he wasn't sure what else to call him--he caught his gaze. That link was broken almost as soon as it formed, with slight stammering and pink-tinged cheeks, and Cloud had never in his life felt anything like this before.

He didn't know if this was more a play on egotism or narcissism, but damn if it didn't feel amazing.
