HOTEL TIERRA PATAGONIA

It's form resembling a fallen fossil cast by the side of a lake, the architects sought to knit the structure into its surroundings. The design itself uses local materials and low-tech, traditional techniques which minimize its impact on the natural environment.

Using adobe mud brick traditional of the area,and locally sourcing materials for the interior furniture and finishes the hotel was designed to work in union with its environment. The land around the hotel is also utilized to grow produce by the hotel kitchen, along with water recycling - a must due to the hotels location.
