THIS IS SO FUNNY I just watched krabs swim in gold coins and was like "haha krabs/scrooge otp"

i just looked it up and everything lines up just right for a lot of krabs’ quirks to be inspired by scrooge mcduck in-universe

krabs was born in the 60s. scrooge was created in the 40s for comics. krabs canonically loves comics and collects them. krabs would have been 7 years old when scrooge made his first animated appearance.
